Creating your own theme isn't really that difficult. Especially if you're not going to be creating "posts" and just pages.
Here's an article on how to create your own wordpress theme.
http://www.webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/building-custom-wordpress-theme/
Just skim through the section about posts and comments (since you're not going to be utilizing that).

Silly questions...
Why would a recently hired sales rep be designing a business card?
Doesn't the company that hired you already have an identity/stationery/business card that you should use?
What company allows their sales reps to design their own cards?

i recommend backing up your entire home folder, but most importantly the library folder. i usually go through and look at what i actually need inside of there. a lot of times you will find that you don't even have half of the apps that use that stuff anymore. also the main library folder may have some things that you need in it. to preserve all of your preferences, in both library folders, there is a 'preferences' folder...keep those.

The package you receive by download includes "a DOS operating system"
And, by an amazing coincidence, QEMU just happens to include a FreeDOS image...

I just wish that he would crawl back in his hole....I'm tired of seeing his ugly piehole plastered on every channel on the TV.
I agree, whatever happened to drug-abusing celebrities who were both cool as hell and talented? Where's Jimi, Janis, Cobain, HST, Burroughs, Morrison, and John Belushi?!! Oh yeah...
(Not that Charlie Sheen isn't talented, he was great in Platoon, but that was 25 years ago, and 2 and a half men is crap)
I would buy that app though.

Definitely more lighting, as well as a small area rug which you can place under your computer desk. Adding frames/mirrors will also make your room look much bigger than it actually is.

thanks for the great advice,
my requirements is a tripod I can hike around, though most of the time I will be operating out of my car. Still I am planning on hiking mount St Helens this year amongst other hikes, so I do not want anything to heavy to haul 4750 vertical ft over 4 miles up (then reverse this down). jabot, I will look into the Gitzo GT-2531 for legs, as for the head, I will look at the 2 mentioned below
Really Right Stuff BH-40
Manfrotto
thank you once again
as for other information on my equipment, I currently am using a Canon 500D/T1i, with kit lens. My next purchase will be a 7D, I did want to venture into the 5D2 but I am going to stick with the EF-S lenses for most of my shooting. I am not a professional. My next lens purchase will be EF-s 10-22mm.
I'd pass on the Manfrotto head and instead look at Markins (http://www.markinsamerica.com/MA5/index.php). I haven't physically handled one, but if their product photos are any indication the workmanship is first rate.

As far as I know (could be wrong) Time Machine backs everything up, therefore all your settings for all programs should be saved.

Hi
I've recently upgraded from Tiger to Leopard on my Power Mac G4. Now, each time I turn the computer on, I don't automatically connect to the internet. I have an Airport Extreme-compatible Wireless PCI card.
I can get the internet to work if I manually go through the Network Diagnostics stages and turn Airport on that way. However, each time I turn the computer off and on again there is no internet connection again, which can get quite frustrating after a while.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Is there an option somewhere to keep Airport on permanently? Would it make any difference if I removed and re-inserted the PCI card?
Thanks
Jeff

meltedcaramel is looking for constructive criticism, not, "go hire a designer".
I give him or her tremendous credit for doing this, and putting it here for us to help him/her learn.
How can anyone get better at something they're attempting to do if the answer is always to go find someone else to do it?

I don't have a direct answer, but I did get some helpful direction on the Apple OS X Server forum:

Ok, so here is the deal. I have recently found my old apple 2.1 iphone lying around from a couple years back. I'm currently on t-mobile and wanted to know how to unlock my iphone for the apps and ability to use on t-mobile. Any help would be appreciated.
--iphone 2.1 - Modem firmware 04.05.04_G (yes, this is probably outdated - havent been used in a long time )
--Itunes 10
--Mac OS X version 10.6.6
thank you

Apps wise I think you're stuck. I'm pretty sure app purchases can be shared but both phones need to be synced to the same computer/library and account for them to load on both phones. Somebody can correct me though.
As for music. Try using a flash drive to copy the files between computers. When you try to play them in the other itunes library it should ask for you to type in that person's itunes password. That will authorize your computer. You can do that for up to 5 computers. It will only matter for music you bought in itunes.

This is stupid .... allowing this kinda of crap, but still too stingy to open up private API's like cover flow and full access to the page curl animation for ebook type applications.

I found OReilly books the best. Oreilly has a nice pocket guide to css. That was all I needed to get me going and it was less than 10 bucks.
