This is stupid .... allowing this kinda of crap, but still too stingy to open up private API's like cover flow and full access to the page curl animation for ebook type applications.

You might want to hire a designer. They look like templates modified by design newbies (bad).

I agree getting to know CSS is the best way to go. And Wordpress widgets are just a nightmare.
Assume you mean Plugins? Actually you can do a lot with them, and if you know PHP you can even combine them to do stuff you want.
You don't really need to know that much PHP because you can basically find a Plugin to do whatever you want and then use CSS to style it.
The WordPress.org forums are great as are any on the sites that you download your themes from.

Ok, in closing this thread.. I have decided to go with the Quadro fx 4500 and also as a back up, I also am getting the 6600 256MB version - I really want my machine quiet and not noisy though.
But I guess a little bit of noise isn't too bad though.

I just had my hard drive replaced on my MacBook Pro. Before it crapped out on me I had everything backed up on my external hard drive. Now, all I really want from the external hard drive is all of the websites I had saved in Google Chrome. I tried but it seems like the options aren't specific enough to restore Chrome and not all the rest of the apps.
Any thoughts?
Thanks...

Do you have any domain names you would like? You can check at GoDaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) (course you don't have to use GoDaddy to register a domain name) to check if your desired URL is available as well as the extension/suffix (ie: .com, .net, .org, etc).

Sources are only required for statements of fact, or statements that are intended to be fact. Opinions are still allowed.
One thing people still often forget is to clearly separate what is their opinion and what is their statement based on facts. At least I face it sometimes that people first talk about facts and then add their opinion without adding any sign of it being just their opinion (like IMO, just my two cents etc).
On great example is from 2010 MBA speculation when some folks typed in caps lock and then few posts after told that it was just their opinion. Errr...you don't have to post your opinions in caps lock, do you? It also lacked a sign of it being just an opinion. Things like these start flame wars, stating your opinion as a fact. If you simply say it's your opinion, then all people can do is disagree. We are all entitled to have our own opinion.
IMO, it might be worth it to add a line to state that when in debate, it is advisable to clearly separate what is your statement based on facts/sources and what is just your own opinion. Not in every thread of course but when the threads is clearly a debate thread where facts and opinions may easily be mixed without proper notation.

There's a new Michael Jackson album coming out on the 14th of December called 'Michael', and you can hear the first single of it at this website:
http://breakingnews.michaeljackson.com/
What do you guys think of the song. I personally reckon it's good and I hope the rest of the album is as good.
Edit: Just letting people know that Breaking News has been taken off the website for streaming, however now you can listen to Hold my Hand, a duet with Akon that was leaked a few years ago but sounds a lot better now.

First of all, I have used both the Titanium Powerbook and the iBook; a colleague has the TiBook and I own a 700MHZ iBook; we both have AirPort cards and the range is the same (we hate tested this at airports, hotels, coffee shops as we often travel together for work). And while I LOVE my iBook i must admit that even my friend's 1 year old TiBook outperforms my iBook is some high-end apps as Photoshop and Vectorworks... normal use: e-mail, word processing, web... they're about the same.
As far as comparing your PIII Win98 experience to the G3 700MHZ or G4 800MHZ running OS 10.2... you will definitely NOT notice a speed decrease, and in my opinion your Photoshop use will be much more responsive on an iBook or TiBook (I would recommend Photoshop 7). Just my opinion! Good luck.

Are you using a directly-attached USB drive, or are you using a wireless Time Capsule (or a USB drive attached to an Airport Extreme)?
I use a Time Capsule. When I click "Enter Time Machine", it sometimes takes up to 30 seconds for it to connect wirelessly and pull it up.

Student15,
There are many brilliant people in this forum that would be glad to help you but one thing I have learned is that they will NOT do your work for you. They will though help you.
Why don't you list what you have done so far to try to accomplish what you are trying to do? If you have not started and don't know where to start learning, there is help for that too.
You would do best to learn how to use the search function for this forum. With searching I have found answers to all my questions.
Why don't you post your experiences so far with programming? Don't worry if you are just starting out. Searching will give you book titles, web sites (Apple developers site) and other sources of learning material.
Good luck.

I loved the nano the second I saw it. I was set on buying one.
But then I found out it isn't compatible with Apple's AV Adapter. I'd love to put keynote presentations on the iPod and take it to class and do a presentation with it. So much more cool and easier than a laptop. So I decided, nah, I'll wait for whatever the next new "big" iPod is, be it iPod video or whatever.

You could use this widgit (http://www.widgetgallery.com/view.php?widget=36036) with konfabulator.
Or use Mighty Mouse (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18336) to make the cursor bigger.

This movie will suck......please please let Uwe Boll direct it:rolleyes:
Mario film...cult status....more like 50cent bin status
MPrime...a movie without any dialogue just trippy movie...cool sounds like 2001 to me.
Note: Anything Silent Hill rocks!...the movie was grand...not sticking to the story but none the less.

The simple answer is as many as you want: There are no limits apart from with MobileMe: you can only have a single MobileMe account.
You can add as many POP, IMAP or exchange accounts as you want
Thanks, I figured out how MobileMe works and I've added more accounts.
