How sure? You're just guessing. I'm guessing the same thing as you, but I want to "know."

If you are on Snow Leopard, then you need a slightly different version of Mirage Dock but once you have it set up it works beautifully, see attached image.

Kazza is garbage, I installed it once but didn't have any spy/adware problems, it could of been a bad download. I use Limewire, adware picks it up as spyware I've never had a problem with it.
First thing I would do is download both Adware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and SpyBot (http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,22262,00.asp). Once you install them reboot into safe mode (F8 when windows starts loading) scan with adware once it's done doing it's thing, reboot into safe mode again scan with Spybot then reboot and scan with Spybot & Adware again just to make it grabbed all the garbage.
If you need anymore help let me know.

I've seen our internet speed as low as 10Mbps and as high as 20Mbps. Is that sufficient? I'm really just looking for a simple HD streaming machine that won't freeze up with all that data.

2 megs is a lot, but in the age where broadband internet is more accessable and cheaper than it used to be, you can push file sizes a bit especially if your target audience is known to have broadband and flash and even a processor fast enough to display flash at its intended speed.
when you are saving jpgs how are you doing it? save for web from photoshop works great for optimizing your file sizes. also if you imported an image and it started off as 1000x500 and you scaled it down in flash and you will never scale it back up, resize it in photoshop and then re import it at the size it actually belongs.
and as the poster above pointed out, external swfs, jpes and even text if you want to get crazy can be loaded on a need basis.

Instead of considering using a hosted exchange server, I wish I could simply point mydomain.com to me.com and use it as my hosted server for whatever competitive fee they would charge.

There's probably a really simple solution but I can't figure it out.
I'm setting up a website for some friends who are starting a web comic. The comics will be SWF files. It's all well and good that people can view them on the website but we'd like people to be able to click a link and download the file.
I haven't done anything like this before and the only thing my google searches seem to be coming back with is
<a href="MyFile.swf">Download MyFile.swf</a>
Which just opens up the file in the browser.
Anyone know the solution to this?

I have an ipod touch.
I'm getting an iphone this morning.
I want everything from my touch onto my iphone.
Do I just sync the new iphone to my itunes and that's it?
Or is there more to it?
I'll be giving the touch to my niece, so I'll only have the phone.

If you have a newer MBP with a built-in card reader, use it -- pop the SD card out of the camera and put it into your computer -- it's a much more reliable way to transfer photos.
If you have an older MBP, or a 17", with an otherwise-fallow ExpressCard/34 slot -- pick up an ExpressCard/34 SD card reader. Sandisk used to make one that sat flush with the chassis, but I'm not sure if that's still available -- handy item.

Oh, if you click on big black pencil the pencil turns into a curser and stops writing. But that just ruins the fun!

check out the rating on the apple store. almost every persons has died....not reliable at all
Hmmm--you must mean Time Capsule--not really possible for Time Machine to die since it is not a hardware item. Regardless, I just wanted to add that Time Machine verifies the integrity of the backup every time it does a backup which is why sometimes you will run into the situation where it will be seemingly doing nothing for a long time--will seem to be stuck on "preparing"--for sometimes hours--it has most likely encountered a problem and has lost its way so it is rebuilding its database--just leave it alone and it will fix iteself. I personally love Time Machine--but I also use Super Duper for my hard drive as well--just in case.

Does she like Kate Spade stuff? They have a few different cases, both hard shell and rubber that my wife has been switching between lately.

Haha, well I think it's a valid concern!
No, it's quite ridiculous in fact.

Well, you're going to create a new view each time, nothing wrong with that. You'd just prefer not to have to duplicate the code. Think of it like the navigation controller with pushViewController and popViewController. You want to implement something like those methods, except you're pushing a view and popping a view, and doing the related animations.
