Would you be willing to sell the RAM and graphics card seperately? I would buy them. Or we could do a trade for my 64MB VRAM card + cash.

If the rom files are zipped, then you'll want to unzip them before you try to run them.

you MUST be missing a codec
I download lots of movies, and I cannot remember a movie I couldn't play. WMV3 codec plays in WMP, and EVERYTHING else can be played in mplayer or vlc. WMP WMV3 movies play smoothly, unless trying to skip ahead.
Although, sometimes windows media movies will not play from within Safari.
I have NEVER gotten Windows Media movies of any sort to play within Safari. In fact, anything not handled by QuickTime has never played inside of Safari for me.

If your willing to ship to Australia, I'll buy the bluetooth mouse
I'd have to charge extra for that shipping.

Download "Around Me." Wherever you are - it will list everything from gas, motels, Apple Store, hotels, movie theaters, pharmacies, supermarkets etc., using GPS.
Fandango for movies - what's playing around where you are.
Both are free.

Hey Guys,
I want to be able to disable local snapshots in build 11A444d, as it is messing up the Time Machine background.
How is this related to local snapshots? I'm confused that just looks like a bug in time machine itself. Local snapshots in the current build can't be turned off that I am aware of.

Hi!
Ive just upgraded my 500GB scorpio blue to a new 5k750 and Im having lots of issues regarding perfomance.
The 5k750 is really slow, Im getting 43MB/s writing and 93MB/s reading using AJA as benchmark, and using Xbench only 44 of overal score.
Does anyone know if there is some issues in MBP 6,2 and new hitachi drives, or should I RMA it?
Thanks!

Do you mean it's holding 92% of its possible charge or do you mean it says it's total capacity is 92% of what it originally was? :)

For reference, make a little visit to Richland, in the eastern Washington state desert. There, you might find a variety of interesting species (http://www.mail-archive.com/ctrl@listserv.aol.com/msg00901.html) roaming Hanford Reach. And better still, they have never even had an accident there.

Hi All
I have created a vpn connection on my imac which connects and authenticates to the works server no problem.
The issue is with the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac, i type the ip address of the server in, and it just wont connect.
The PC's i have connect fine, just the imac, or more specifically the Microsoft RDC.
Has anyone come across this problem before, and hopefully a solution.

U sure know how to make the scorned apple pda myth seem pretty appealing with your "all in one" device. Maybe we could call it the all-in-wonder mac (hehe ripping off ATI is so great...)

I'm just spurting this off the top of my head. Walmart.com has some preowned video games, and may just have preowned iPods from time to time. Don't quote me though.
You could also start a "Want To Buy" thread here in the marketplace. I find our MacRumors users quite trustworthy.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I do have a similar question...
My wife got me a refurbed MBP for a little over $850... I can get a new MBP for 1150. Is the new MBP worth the $300 (and the upset wife)? Or do I enjoy the current present?

A Christmas album - Barbra Streisand
BINGO. One of the most AMAZING albums. Also, Jose Feliciano. INCREDIBLE AS WELL. And like others have said, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, The Carpenters..David Foster produced an album in like 1993. It has some really great stuff on it to. I like Michael Crawfords' rendetion of 'O' Holy Night.

I liked the multi-gestures in the iOS 4.3 beta's that didn't get released in the GM build. Is there any chance in using the new redsn0w or Pwnage to use it instead of the current 4.3.1? I have all my SHSH's saved locally and via Cydia since day one.

Ok...new thought...
SSD for boot drive.
RAID0 for scratch disk.
Regular HDD for storage.
RAID0 vs SSD for scratch disk...I'm reading that SSD isn't all that great for scratch disks because the write speed isn't all that great and sometimes actually slower than a traditional disk, especially with small file changes. Plus, a 128GB SSd is around $250 whereas i already have a couple SATA drives I could use for RAID0.
So, are there any down sides to using RAID0 strictly as a scratch drive?
