Looking at buying new headphones. Have cheapish SkullCandy ones now but get annoyed at not having iPod control features...
Also dont want a lot of noise leakage like the Monster Dr Dre Slolo ones are rumoured to have?! Although I do really like the look of them?
Any tips? Budget is a blank canvas for the right ones... anything up to $ 200

I think its OK to hope for things you want to happen that are beyond your control.
If you hope some things to happen that you have the potential to alter the outcome of yourself (vs. doing something about it), you will often get disappointed and some ppl even "blame others" (even "god") when their hopes are squashed. This is the mentality of a "loser". It's one thing to lose when you've given it a shot, but if you've lost without even trying and just "hoping" it works your way, you are a loser from the start.
It's like "praying" to win the lottery. If you want to be rich, go out and start a business and give it a shot rather then spend the time praying to become rich and "hoping" your god makes you the chosen one.

No PDA. Steve Jobs recently said they designed one, but decided not to ship it.
Tablet, maybe. They patented a design recently (I think?). At any rate, if you do a search on the forums you're likely to find 9999999 threads on this.

The bug that has always bugged me is still there, i.e., Mail plays sound whenever there's junk mail in the junk box filtered out with rules.
Maybe consider using SpamSieve (http://c-command.com/spamsieve/). You can turn off mail sounds and have the spam program alert you only when you have real mail. Plus it is just a great spam program vs Apple's Junkmail system.

By replace, do you mean you just purchased the Rev C, or you were sent a Rev C because there was a problem with your Rev A?

De authorise, then re-authorise your computer. It's worked for me quite a few times in the past.

Btw, I forgot to mention, Smart utility is reporting that load cycle count is growing up at about 4 cycles/min (+/- 2000 when I left home) and about
1 milion Power-off Retract Count .
I dont think that is right. Right?

hello all, i use o2 for my emails on my ipad, why does my ipad collect the same messages over and over again ?. when i delete the emails, the next day when i should collect new ones i also get all the old ones.
Is your o2 mail set to keep a copy of mail on the server? This could cause mail to re-download messages.

The Fratelli's.
They're from Glasgow and are pretty sweet, and they're getting pretty big. I was meant to go see them at Hogmanay but it was cancelled due to the weather.

I was only able to make a reservation via apple's iPhone app. I'm kinda nervous that they didn't get my order. There have been so many issues with the orders that I'm not really counting on them to have a phone waiting for me. I must have trust issues.
i got a confirmation email and still feel the same way.

I am trying to decide between a brand new MacBook or a MacBook Pro for my new laptop. Right now, I have a 14 inch Dell Latitude D630. It takes about 5 minutes to start up, and I have to turn it off every night. My dad bought an iMac about a year ago, and it still works like a charm. Plus, with the MacBook Pro, I can brag to my friends that I have a MacBook pro with Thunderbolt and a backlit keyboard. Anyways, getting back to the subject, here is what I will need to be doing:
HEAVY Web Browsing (including videos)
Some gaming
iTunes
GarageBand
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Some minor Video Editing

Hello,
I have Air Ultimate with Windows 7 Ultimate, I recently installed.
For some reason, whenever I use MSN and Skype, they both don't recognize my camera. Anyone can suggest something to help me verify that?
Thanks

I don't like to say.... "command-s", i like to say "apple-s". Mac users are different. with less technical terms that pc users, we do things better than them!!!
That is funny to me because in the past I've been admonished by an apple service repair tech for calling it the apple key and not the command key.
But then, computer technicians are generally arrogant sad little trolls whether they work on macs or windows computers.
