Intel came up with the BTX form factor a little while ago. I have not heard from it since. Do a lot of PCs use this motherboard style? How about Dell?
Is it a possibility that future Macs will use it?
Gateway has been using the BTX for almost a year I believe.
Could any future Macs use a BTX MB? I suppose that anything is possible- who would have imagined Mac OS running on intel processors?!

Hi, I looked up another thread on this but it didn't seem to encompass my problem effectively.
I have already created my partition in bootcamp and have downloaded Windows 7 from the internet. I have this file now that doesn't work. Can you guys help me out by recommending a virtual machine or how to burn it to a dvd (I don't really have any around, so this should be a last resort if possible)

Hey guys
does anyone know where i can find the FastMac colored mini cases? My mac mini case seems to be broken since i cant close the top case completely so i'm looking to get one of the fastmac cases but i can't seem to find them on the fastmac site? I can see the picture of it on top of the page sometimes but it seems like the link is broken.

Yup. Also, the temperature difference between both CPUs isn't anything to worry about. For some reason one gets better cooling than the other. Sometimes there's some lint or dust in one cooler. Or, one CPU is mounted a little higher in the chassis than the other and since heat rises it runs warmer.

So far, the only "ipad" part of lion is the "launchpad" which has an alias to all your apps
Gestures is another iPad feature on Lion, as well as the shaky icons to uninstall them instead of trashing the app.
Apple is making OSX more iPad-ish, as for DP sucking, as you put it. I think you're in the minority. It appears the consensus here is that Lion is eagerly anticipated.
I'm personally underwhelmed but that's just me, a lot of folks here are loving the features and are excited.

I've been on 4.0 for a while now (which I had jailbroken with jailbreakme). But lately I've been getting a message like 'you need 4.1 or higher to install this app'.
So I think it's about time to upgrade.
Now, I don't know much about all the jailbreaking stuff, that's why I loved jailbreakme, one click and it was done.
So my question to you is, to which version should I update and what should I use to jailbreak it?
It would be nice if I could keep all the apps + the fact that it would be a jailbreak which stays when I shutdown and restart my iPod.

Have you tried Brasso (or any such equivalent)?
It's a fine abrasive metal (but works fine on plastic) polishing compound, that should, with a little time and patience, polish out the scratches, I used it to buff out rather large scratches on the Apple logo on the side of an old Power Mac G3 years ago, and it works a treat, removed all traces of 1-2mm deep, 5cm long scratches and left the logo with an absolutely perfect shine.
Just make sure the plastic is of the coloured and not the painted type though, otherwise you'll just polish off the colour. ;)

Love my Kate Spade hard case! It's black with white polka dots and a pink bumper. It has saved my iPhone's life various times. I'm really looking into a Coach fabric/soft case as well. I'd like to transition between the two.

Guys, got a question. My main hobby is shooting fireworks, and I belong to a number of websites where all my "pyro friends" post videos of their various shoots. Ever since I have switched to a Macbook Pro, I always get "requires a plug in" on a couple of the sites, and I can't view the videos.
I get that message on both Firefox and Safari.
What do I need to install on my macbook Pro to be able to watch those videos seamlessly? I don't want to have to convert them...I just want to be able to click play, and they play.
Can anyone help.

Not used this feature for a long time, so surprised was me when i found out that Apple have changed everything.
Instead of listing every duplicated song , it just displays only one instance of a song.
Is there any whay to turn it back to the old way of
