You can try Screen spanning Doctor. It allows to enable clamshell mode until next PRAM reset. See Readme file located on its dmg.

I would agree with this. It's not a universities place to promote values on this regard, whether Christian or homosexual or agnostic or theistic abstinence or anything. There is a difference between supporting and promoting.
Unfortunately, he shoots himself in the foot in the next paragraph indicating it's a get even jab at "the left" which loses any support I might have given this measure based on what I just said.
No one is promoting anything. It a resource available for those who need it. I was extremely grateful for the one on my campus back in the 80's. Those folks saved my life.

Is there a simple shortcut or macro in Apple Mail to simplify the HTML tag for linking to a different web page? In other words, instead of clicking on:
http://www.macrumors.com
...I could hide it under "Click HERE" and the HERE would underline and light-up when you hovered over it? If there's not, that would be a good thing to add to Mail in the future.
(Sorry, but I'm just learning HTML...)

Just replace the 7800's stock cooler with a Arctic Cooling Accelero or something like that.
Ok, can you provide the link? I have never replaced a stock cooler on a video card before.. is it easy?? Also, is it expensive to get this? Can you provide the link?
Thanks.
Also, do you know why my yellow trickle light isn't coming on?

you could use the stearming/exporting feature in VLC to export another copy of the movie. you can find it at File>streaming/exporting wizard in VLC.

If you do decide to format and reinstall create a partition and a disk image of a clean install.

Ok. Awhile ago I was browsing this site and I saw an ad for an all aluminum case for the iphone 4. I remember what the website looked like but cannot for the life of me remember what the company name was. Hoping you guys may be able to help me out.
They had a few different colors, may have been a British company, it's not just the bumper its a whole case that is aluminum and they looked extremely sexy!!!!
Any suggestions? :)
PS. Yea I googled and searched! No luck :(

Pretty pricy. I usually use the ZAGG ones so I don't need to figure out where to store them if they're not in my ears (like I'm in a meeting or at an appointment). I have Apple's (obviously), ZAGG, a pair from Richard Solo (ebony ones - pretty good sound - but cord is long and can get caught (like around car steering wheels if you have to move fast), as well as the Bose.

You should be able to get the song by going to Advanced: Check for Purchased Music within iTunes. Hopefully, the system doesn't believe you've already downloaded the song.

I always order fully loaded BTO from Apple along with Apple
Care, its expensive but removes any concerns. Its easier also.
Reputable retailers mean there are no concerns.
As far as easier...I suppose it is easier for someone who can afford to spend twice as much on memory to save them a trivial amount of labor.
Different strokes for different folks.

It won't let me access that since the 60-day trial is over.
Also, one question about my iPod-
it's been doing well on waking me up with music every morning but it has not for the past three mornings. I keep checking- the alarm is set, the volume is up on the machine and speakers and music plays normally without the alarm. It doesn't even work on beep mode. Any ideas?

See if it works with Final Vinyl, a free download
http://www.griffintechnology.com/software/
that I've used to transfer analog recordings to AIFF, which is workable with both Garageband and iTunes. There are other downloads here too.
I've used a Griffin iMic for USB input, but I've also used a basic RCA to 1/8" mini y converter into the sound input jack. It made no practical difference.
The software has some filtering options.
I've only used Garageband so far for making my own music tracks so I'm not sure what to tell you about that.
edit: Audacity software as well here:

I can do it either way so it does make a difference to me if I can make a healthy difference in battery life.

There's this awesome show called "MythBusters" and they tested this theory out-- it is true, using the AC kills fuel economy when compared to just having the windows down.
Two SUVs were used; exact same specs, model, everything... Same exact amount of fuel put in and one driver blasted the AC the whole time while the other drove w/ the windows down. They drove around and around an open race track. Although the data was screwy nobody could deny the truth because the AC using SUV rolled to a standstill over a half an hour before the windows-down SUV did.
I saw that one. Jamie sure was cold by the end!
But I don't think they were as thorough as they should have been to definitively answer that question. They left out the speed variable, and they only tested it on an SUV.
The reason I think it makes a difference is that when my wife's turns the AC on in her Civic with it's ~120 HP there is a noticeable drop in available power. If you really want to accelerate in that car you turn off the AC until you hit cruising speeds again. But in my truck with ~200 HP there is no noticeable drop in power. Thus I speculate that the effect of the AC might just be more pronounced on the smaller car because it takes roughly the same amount of power away from an engine to turn an AC compressor regardless of engine size.
Who knows, that might just make the Mythbuster's proof that much more positive. But her car is also vastly more aerodynamically superior, so an open window might affect it more...
I just don't know. I think you'd have to do some pretty extensive testing to say definitively.

Living etc (a modern homes/interiors magazine).
I don't bother with tech/gadgets stuff unless i'm looking to buy something specific, in which case i might pick up a copy of something like Home Cinema Choice. I've never looked at a Mac magazine.
I also don't bother buying any girls mags... yes i said 'girls' not 'girlie' mags... i mean women's magazines (vogue, elle, cosmo etc), NOT the kind of 'girlie' mags you guys are thinking of ;)

I can't believe what they did to the singing. EA... this is a phone, which means it had a mic. WTH?
why do people so easily forget about the iPod touch?... not everyone uses the iPhone for App Store Apps.
I do feel like they dropped the ball for those interested in singing though. Esp since you can use the mic built into the apple headphones on the iPod touch. Maybe they can add this feature later...
of course, being designed to be played on a portable device does mean that you may not be in a place where you can sing without disturbing those around you.
