Try dragging to the trash can.
I had an app fail install and already dropped it in the Applications folder and Launchpad. Clicked on it in launchpad and got a ? mark in the middle of the icon, tried to delete it any way I could and found dragging it to the trash can works.

I would like to at least see the option of playing movies on it (think video podcast)
But the real deal breaker for me was the lack of a physical pause button. I don't want to have to grab the nano, turn it on, aim for the pause button, before I can hear the outside world.
You can set the power button double-tap option to pause/play the current song with the latest firmware.
Alternatively, the remote add-ons work with the nano 6th gen.

This may have been found previously, but some apps that were not downloaded from the Mac App Store are showing this new "x" that unninstalls it. Google Chrome (dev version) And the beta version of Dropbox (1.2) both have the X in Launchpad.

I like the Angry Peeps and the "Mupeep Show" The iPeep2 display was great, just for the amazing level of detail on the Apple Store.

While it is reasonable to wish to change your posting, I believe you overstep yourself by villifying the moderators for not taking care of your request. They probably have more in their lives than just catering to personal whims. Besides, if in the end you can' t change it, either post a contradictory message to advise against the song, or use it as a learning experience and don't post before you are sure of yourself.

I got into web design about 3 years ago when i got my first mac. I tinkered a bit before on my pc but seriously for some reason I was really motivated by the hardware I was using. I started out using front page about 5 years ago and got web fever like i said about 3 years ago when I got ahold of Flash. I dont know why I love to do it, but as a Flash developer/designer I love how robust and powerful the platform is becoming because anything can be done with it.
Designers block only seems to happened when I try to redesign my own site. I can usually make anyone else happy but my own eye. I have been working on that for sometime and always switch to a new design, but its totally normal.
The reason I choose web design is for that one day when I can truly work from home as a freelancer, no strings attached. More recently I have been taking in office freelance positions, because beggers cant be choosers all the time, especially at this point in my early career. Check around this forums for a thread about getting jobs in web design. It turns out in some areas if you arent absolutely amazing and can offer the kitchen sink, getting jobs can be somewhat hard. Honestly though, here in Philadelphia, even the bad designers and web designers can get jobs... maybe not at the most ideal place or best paying, but it has been my experience that it isnt hard at all thus far for my current location while I am in school.

I have a similar story. 2 years ago, I was home from school; I was sick. I was sitting in my parents' bed with my mom watching tv (at the time, it was the only tv in the house, but I still don't have a tv in my room; it's okay, I have my MBP and megavideo ;)). I went to my room to sleep. I left my Late 2007 2.2GHz White MacBook on my mom's bed near the headboard. On the headboard, there happened to be my cup of ice water. When I woke up, my mom was in the shower. My two dogs were on my parents bed, fighting (or playing, I'm not sure). This was right after I got my new dog, so my old dog was trying to assert his dominance towards the new dog. Anyway, while I was asleep, the dogs knocked over the cup of water onto the MacBook. When I left the MacBook on the bed, it was closed, sleeping. When I came back to my MacBook, the sleep light was solid (not pulsating like it should've been doing). I opened the MacBook to see if it was okay. The screen wouldn't come on and the sleep light remained solid. I removed the battery and went over to my local microcenter to get some compressed air. When I got home, I removed the L-bracket, RAM, and HDD. The RAM and HDD weren't wet. I sprayed compressed air inside the slots where the RAM would go. I used the entire can of compressed air. I left it off for another 3 hours or so. Then I reassembled it, hit the power button and I heard the famous BONGG sound. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. Fast forward to March 16, 2010. I needed my display and inverter board replaced due to marks on the screen from heat and a flickering backlight. I got a call from Apple telling me that they found corrosion on the logic board (why they removed the LB to replace the screen is beyond me). My MacBook was constantly freezing and kernel panicking. They voided my warranty due to the water, so I decided against the $800 repair charge and got a new 13" MBP 2.4GHz for $400 more than the repair cost. I have since upgraded it to 8GB of RAM, a 500GB 7200RPM HDD and AppleCare. I still have the MacBook and it works fine as a backup computer. I loaned it out to my friend while his PC was broken and he used it for about 4 months without any issues. I was shocked that it didn't freeze once! He never shut it down unless he had to run an update. He liked the MacBook so much that he bought an iMac of his own.

I also live in Colorado, a very high and dry state. On a 90�F day, you can dry a shirt (after it has been wrung out) in about 3 hours if it is left to dry in the flat position.

I'd like to purchase a new fully decked out Mac Pro with the maximum 64GB of RAM, but I obviously don't want to have to pay Apple $3,550 for the extra RAM.
Does anyone have any experience with, or words of advice about, the RAM sold by OWC (sold here (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/1333D3X8M64K/))

I've been trying to do use several shortcuts with the "fat" arrowkeys but I don't have a "fat" arrowkey on my keyboard. Does it mean something else or am I just slow?Shift...? I have one on each side of the keyboard...

IMO Apple should bring it back and offer e.g. iPod Touch Mini with 2-3" screen for those who want a smaller iPod with a touchscreen.

I went to the Apple Store today and asked about the minis a bit ... they didn't have the new ones out on display, but they had one guy walking around wearing the blue, pink and green. The colors are dramatically different -- much more bold.
Both the new 4gig and the new 6gig look identical, same size, same everything. Both lines feature the bold colors and the improved battery life.
I have to say I was really shocked at the colors -- they were practically glowing neon. Really, phenomenally bright. This picture from iPodLounge illustrates the difference very well ... it is truly THIS bold.
