...once you start setting up WPA/WEP (which is necessary), upgrading firmware, etc. you'll find out.
What is WPA/WEP? What is firmware and where do I get it? Sorry im new to all this.

Add in the ability to watch movies (which they took out) and I'd buy it.
They need a bigger version, 16 GB is not enough.
Me: I'm not buying any ipod until I can get one with radio and movies.

Yeah, I had the hack before I upgraded to Lion, and it kept it through the upgrade. (I had also disabled Dashboard, and it kept that hack as well).

Great to hear! I got mine on launch, but now the wife wants one so I'll be in the hunt. Are they getting a wide variety of models daily? I'll be searching for a white AT&T 16 or 32. Still handing out tickets in the morning?
I don't know about during the week (I'm assuming yes) but this weekend they did tickets. I'm honestly surprised how many people were still getting in line sat mornings. I know at least one day last week they had "an assortment" of 3G iPads when I called at noontime. When I asked the rep early last week what the spread of models they were getting was, she said it was a relatively even spread. If you could settle for VZW, the target in Norwood had a 64gig and a 16gig white.

I take it this is an external drive?
Does it work under Windows 7 on your Mac?
B
Nope, it was able to detect it, but was not able to read it, windows 7 asked me to format before use...
but i do have important stuff inside

In the wake of a highly-publicized disclosure (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/20/researchers-disclose-iphone-and-ipad-location-tracking-privacy-issues/) last week regarding iOS location tracking and discussion of similar activity found on Android-based devices, All Things Digital has gone back and cut together a video clip (http://kara.allthingsd.com/20110426/a-probe-in-your-pocket-heres-apples-steve-jobs-and-googles-andy-rubin-talking-privacy-at-d8-and-dive/) of comments from Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Google mobile boss Andy Rubin on privacy to remind readers what key executives have said about the issue in the recent past. Jobs' interview took place at the D8 Conference (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/06/01/steve-jobs-in-opening-interview-session-at-d8-conference/) last June, while Rubin's took place at the D: Dive Into Mobile conference back in December."We take privacy extremely seriously," said Jobs, who addressed the smartphone location data issue in particular. "A lot of people in [Silicon] Valley think we're old-fashioned about this."Rubin's comments focused on the basic Android operating system, reporting that there is nothing in that code that sends data back to Google. But obviously Google's own services and other extensions built on top of Android could report such information given the touted open source nature of the platform. Both Jobs and Rubin make some pretty strong privacy-related statements in these videos, so it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.We reported yesterday (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/25/steve-jobs-on-ios-location-issue-we-dont-track-anyone/) on an apparent email response from Steve Jobs to a user claiming that Apple does not track users, but Apple has yet to issue a more thorough response in the face of increasing questions from users and inquiries from government representatives and agencies in a number of countries.

I personally moved from the 13"MBA to the 13"MBP because of that issue.
My eyes aren't too bad and I didn't get any headaches, but still, reading on the higher res was not too comfortable for me. I zoomed in pretty often in safari and numbers.
The extra space was very nice though...
In any case it seems to me that an higher pixel density will make your problem worse.

This list (http://www.egghelp.org/shellhtml/12345-a-012-123.htm) provides info on how long each provider has been around. Hopefully that will help weed out the less desirable "flash in the pan" companies.

Hey,
Every few hours, or maybe once a day, my iPhone suddenly comes up with "Simcard is not installed". I am going to the genius bar today, but will they replace it? How can i prove it is a problem?

We are spoiled. 20 years ago, we would have easily paid that for software that did what it did.
