Yeah thats a good point. You are preaching to the choir, I really miss the feature (hence asking Loren about it). I don't imagine it will be too much longer before the 'Services' option in the iPhone version goes as well.
some of those 'services' are pretty pointless. I don't think 2 of them even work.

Why are you running these apps as root anyway? You shouldn't be using the sysadmin password for daily use.

Why doesn't Google just send a payment for every time a video is viewed? The artists would make a ton of money and the videos would get to stay. Pulling them down and giving people a reprimand is not the right way to go.

I would love to get some, granted I'm pretty sure it would slow down the speed of me typing :/

You need to activate your phone. Why can't you buy a sim off eBay or get one of the pay as you go sims?
Otherwise, use pwnage or something similar to activate.

im well aware of the form follows function principle, but sometimes its nice to have a bit of eye candy and fun in a website...
ok, nice to see some other interesting websites, want more though...

Oh well, thought I had a chance :( ;)
Doesn't matter, I'm approaching the big 500 anyway, so you'll be able to see it soon enough. :)
It was fun anyway!
It was an excellent one, so definitely don't sell yourself short! And as you say, we'll be able to see it soon regardless, so it's all good. :)

Will a cheap silicone case protect the iPhone 4 or is an expensive TPU case needed?

Yep, I got more Madden/Wii issues.
No more corrupted memory issues since my first incident (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=286434), but now I'm having issues where I get an error message saying my nunchuk has been disconnected OR the nunchuk no longer responds and the game keeps on playing (which means my superstar running back starts spinning in circles or stands still and waits to be plastered by the defense).
Unplugging and plugging the nunchuk seems to stave off issues for 12-24 hours, but it's been a real annoyance for the past three days. Has anybody else have this happen to them?

I Just downloaded the album. Most of the songs are in Hebrew (she's Israeli) and I don't speak the language aside from a few choice words that, if used, would ban me from MacRumors for eternity. Very melodic album nonetheless.

I have a general rule... If I can't figure out what the site is for/about in under 30 seconds, I close the window or go back to where I came from.
I'm not wasting my time on pretty if there is no usability/understandability.

Zepp,
Download Handbrake (providing youre on a mac). then, download VLC.
Next, open Handbrake.
Insert DVD.
Select where you want file stored(in handbrake).
Start Handbrake.
Once the program is done, you will see the file in .Mp4
You can drag that into iTunes and it will sync to your iPad.
"You can put down the cocktail, your movie is done"
Thats what i was needing, an idiots guide !! lol
Thanks to both of you , Macdawg and clutchthese

I have a mac desktop with Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and I can't open my files and or folders, it also will not let me "right click" or save bookmarks. Do I need a norton anti-virus or can I get this thing to fix itself. Sorry if I am on the wrong forum but it is a bit confusing and I am 66 years old and it's a feat just to operate on of these. thanks. coop

Do you mean Super Video CD? I believe that Toast can make them.
That's a fact. I used toast (version 5 at the time) to make SVCDs on my old iMac G3 and it works fine. Toast can use most quicktime supported movie formats.
You can put approx. half an hour of motion pictures on a CD-R

you MUST be missing a codec
I download lots of movies, and I cannot remember a movie I couldn't play. WMV3 codec plays in WMP, and EVERYTHING else can be played in mplayer or vlc. WMP WMV3 movies play smoothly, unless trying to skip ahead.
Although, sometimes windows media movies will not play from within Safari.
I have NEVER gotten Windows Media movies of any sort to play within Safari. In fact, anything not handled by QuickTime has never played inside of Safari for me.

and would be sad if apple finally did discontinue it at this sept ipod update. I have a first generation classic and I still use it everyday unlike my touch or my droid x as music devices. I've always loved how it can hold almost my entire library rather than pick and choose like i have too with the other two devices... anyone else still in love with the classic?
You have a everyday use first gen iPod classic!!! Wow, surprise it still works since it is almost 10 yrs old. Would have throughout batteries or HD would fail with everyday use.
But you have less then 5gigs of music? Most ppl complain that the 64gigs is to small and that's why they need a 160 GB classic
