Seems they got it backwards. I'd charge for the site and offer a mobile version of it free (or a nominal charge) to those paying members of my site.

Yeah, I've thought about that. Not sure if that would leave them on the phone, or erase them cause there's none being synced.

I plan on being there early
The Easton Rent-A-Cops are really bitchy, and they generally don't let you start lining up till 6. On iPhone launches, we'll go hang with the people outside the AT&T store and then send recon over to check it out. As soon as they let the line start forming, we swoop in.

I use Toast Titanium to burn to Apple TV format and then sync. It will even add to itunes for you.
AirVideo is another great solution but you can't use on airplanes since you won't be able to access your network and even if you could(say with GoGo) the video quality would be terrible.

Hi,
I currently have my itunes setup whereby it shows the album art for each album (this is the third possible viewpoint, of the four that you can select).
The trouble is, some of my albums have multiple singers in them (e.g compilation albums).
So, if I "sort albums by title", I get multiple versions of the same album art in a row, one for each singer. If I click the album art, only that one song comes up, rather than all the songs in the album.
In other words, I just want each album art to show ONCE, and for all the songs in that album to be displayed when I click on that album art. This works fine if the album has just the one singer on it, but if it has multiple singers, the problem above occurs.
Is there any way I can fix this?
Thanks

^^ that sounds like a great idea. This country is becoming full of these nutcases.
To be fair, "these nutcases" have been predicting things like this for centuries, its nothing new.

Hi,
I am currently is the process of rearranging my room and would love your advice on what I can do to improve on its current state. I have attached my current room layout. If you cant read my handwriting, clockwise starting at the desk is my desk, chest (drawers that I dont use but my mom insists I keep it in my room), a chair, a nightstand, my bed, and a bookstand.
Thanks!

MAJOR EDIT: I solved my problem. Went to aim.com/im_routing and found out
When signed into multiple locations:
Your messages will generally be delivered to all locations not set as Away (or locations that have gone Idle).
If all locations are set Away, then messages will be delivered to all locations.
Sorry for wasting ten seconds of your lives. Much appreciated :D

They need an app that is native on the iPad. I hate that x2 garbage and usually end up deleting them.

May have added Applecare? I know students get a pretty heavy discount on it.
Also waiting for the free iPod deal too.. using it as a little subsidy cause as a student quite a tight budget, going for the base 27, selling the iPod, should be able to net it for ~1600 after tax :)

I'm don't remember which version of iPad I'm running, all I know is that I jailbroke it with the tethered redsn0w about 6 months ago. I have also kept my my iTunes software up to date but not updating my iPad, of course. The tethered aspect of the jailbreak did not scare me as it was very rare that I ever had to restart the iPad.
This afternood I performed a "complete Cydia upgrade" which required me to reboot my iPad. I figured this should not pose a problem and I could perform the tethered reboot using redsn0w. My problem is that when I run redsn0w, the previous ipsw firmware file is gone from the iPad software updates folder. Why? Also, Itunes also does not recognize my iPad since it is trying to reboot, so my iPad is currently in limbo.
Is there any way to find the ipsw? If not, is there anyway for iTunes to recognize my iPad to perform a restore?
Thanks.

So tell us Windows fan boys, why did this happen?
They're not targeting iPad. They're targeting Windows, just like the other 99.999993% of malware. It's been made perfectly clear that the malware doesn't go anywhere near the iPad. Mention of iPad is just the coercion/social engineering tactic to infect the Windows machine, just like porn codecs.
iPad is the "porn codec" in this scenario, not the victim computer.

I submitted this to Page 2 a couple of days ago but I haven't seen it pop up yet. I too would be all over a sandy bridge black macbook. We'll just have to wait and see.

From his posting history, I get the impression that the OP will respond with some degree of restrained celebration when Steve Jobs buys the farm.

Really two different things the OP needs. One he knows about, and one he doesn't. ;)
First, a request for some clarification. You have a DSL modem that has a single Ethernet port on the back, right? You stated "no wireless". I'm assuming that that's due to some kind of restriction - i.e. workplace or parents or whoever said "no wireless". Is this correct? Or do you simply mean that your DSL modem doesn't have WiFi?
Anyway, if there is some "no wireless" restriction, then the wireless router one person suggested is out.
Does the DSL modem have NAT built in? Do you know what NAT is? (Do a little Wikipedia research...) NAT allows several computers to share a single Internet connection. It changes the packets going out to the Internet so that they all come from the same address. It also provides *some* firewall protection, in that incoming packets are only accepted if they match-up with an outgoing packet. By default, a NAT router won't accept any incoming connections. You can set it up to accept incoming connections, in that case you need to designate which computer to send them to for a given port.
This is of no concern to you unless you are running a server, etc.
If your DSL modem does not have NAT, and also doesn't have some kind of firewall, then you are currently *very* vulnerable to attack.
It would be useful to post your DSL modem model.
If it does have NAT, then I'm a bit surprised that they didn't build in a small Ethernet switch and give you multiple Ethernet ports. If it does have NAT, then you should only need to add an Ethernet switch. Get a gigabit switch, which will make then connection BETWEEN your Macs very fast. (For copying files back and forth, etc.) For the Internet connection, gigabit is a non-issue, since Internet speeds are (typically) way below that of even a 100M switch.
If it doesn't have NAT, then you need a router or firewall. Think "wifi router without the wifi". It's a bit of a specialty product, because they are usually built into a WiFi device, cable modem, or DSL modem.
You can also look for a compatible DSL modem that has a built-in router and switch.
You will have to check your provider's terms of service to see if it's OK to connect more than one computer. Generally, though, the provider won't be able to detect that you are using NAT, so won't know in any case.
