I like it. It's simple. I REALLY like the second one. Make text black-on-blue instead of white-on-blue. Maybe at a few blue spots or something up top too. Just my 2 cents.

FileVault places the contents of your home folder in an encrypted disk image. It cannot have any affect on the ability to erase your drive. Do realize, however, that your data will be gone if you format the drive. I assume you recognize that, but just want to be certain.

Hi all,
I have a few questions if someone doesnt mind answering

I'm getting my first macbook on thursdag! im extremely happy about finally saving up for one, and the main purpose of it will be to learn how to program and create iphone and ipad applications.

heres my line of questions answering just some of em would prove very helpfull for me.

1. Which would be better for programming? macbook air or pro? both the 13" ones.
2. How do i get started? i'm new to programming and some "totally beginners book for the dummies" would be nice If the book contained some code or examples that actually shows i'm doing some progress would only be a plus, for example some test projects - ofc the main thing would be to actually learn the language and start on my own.


3. Should i learn cocoa or objective C first? or both at the same time? What is the diffrence?
4. Is iphone and ipad programming similar and can both be learned by reading the same subjects in a mentioned book?

5. Can i create apps on my own? i have no skills in designing anything, so im wondering if theres maybe some free to use buttons, characters etc whatever u need? or do i NEED to have a designated designer??

I guess it covers it thanks for taking ur time to read! looking forwaqrd to any answers!

Greetings.

I have an AEBS in the front of my apartment that is extended to an AE that's in my apartment's hallway. Is there a way for me to set up the AE to only accept connections from the devices in my room and force all other machines to connect to the AEBS instead?

I feel like there is a bedroom that's smothering my AE, essentially rending my Internet useless back in my bedroom on many occasions. It seems to happen when the other bedroom is streaming stuff.

Tried searching but alas, here I am.:confused:

It's perhaps worth looking at typography and how to create a bit of space around the text. If you look at Apple's website they don't cram everything in to a small space like that.

Also, MacBook should have capital letters, along with the first letter of the sentence. I would maybe make the computer a bit more beige as well � at the moment it looks a bit gold (or tobacco stained beige), rather than beige. Good try though.

It's interesting and somewhat impressive, but I kind of agree with G5Unit, it looks like something I'd get bored of after 30 minutes. It's a prerelease demo, so who knows, maybe there's a lot more to it that we can't see yet.

Can someone please tell me how to crop (zoom) and move a photo in Final Cut Pro, like you can in Sony Vegas or iMovie? I'd appreciate it greatly.

Double-click the image in the Media Browser or on the timeline to put it into the Viewer window and then click the "Motion" tab in the Viewer. There, you can set scale and position.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess my concern is with the unfamiliarity with the structure of the backup folder itself. Leaves me wondering what may happen if/when technology fails and this becomes corrupt for something.

I have no idea if this can even become corrupt. Simply I am being carefully skeptical.

So this technology/software is solid?
