Great, now how about some UE3 support for Mac OS X?

I don't want a refund. I just think they should either offer more for educators or don't offer this type of package. As a macworld noob, I felt tricked. Eliminate the "special sessions" and let educators see the regular sessions and figure out how to apply the technology ourselves. I mean, I wasn't even able to see the microsoft office 2008 presentation.
That's horrible, as someone possibly going into the education field i feel for you and really think you should file a complaint.

I thought the same thing after i used my Mac exclusively for about a month or two then jumping back to Windows to do various things. Most of the time I wondered why it took me so long to minimize everything so i could see the desktop (I have it set now where I can move the mouse to he top right corner and everything flies away) and also why... well I'm just doing things at a slower rate in general.
I'm not talking about things that particularly need a lot of CPU and processing power to do , just things like opening Chrome then opening two folders takes a lot longer to do on a Windows computer compared to a Mac.

Point being that if it's going to be November (which I do believe) then we might as well wait for Steve's MWSF presentation to see what's next. Not that he's necessarily going to tell us then. But that perhaps he'll tell us then.
The other factor will be some benchmarks on the 1.25 to see how much faster it really is. And the other factor is if it is a 7470 or not. Another factor is lust. Another factor is impatience. Another factor is the developement of OS X.2.2 or 2.3. There are an awful lot of bugs in this 10.2.0 that have scared me off of upgrading. I have a very happy and what I percieve to be fast 10.1.5 running on an "old" 500 MHz/100MHz/1.5 GB/100 GB/GF2 CUBE running SILENT.
So while I would like to boost my capability 5+ times, which I'm sure the dual 1.25 would do, I would also like to wait a little longer and boost my capability 10 times or more which I think the first generation Power4 may do.
I also may not have a clue. But I guarantee you I will be in the room when IBM explains what they're up to with the Power4 Processor the morning of October 15th at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel.
Care to join me?
I'll meet you on the other side. I'll stick with a dual 1.25 and be very happy with it. Believing that apple with use the new IBM chip is as much a fact as the 7470 chip even existing. Just becuase we all want faster chips doesn't mean were going to get them. Just becuase there is some IBM chip meeting doesn't have anything to do with apple. There's a reason why this is a rumor site and shouldn't be taken that seriously. We have to let the G5 at MWSF dreams die. Let's be happy with what we've got and know that it beats anything Wintel releases.

I can't move to the next page of it when I go into an application and go back to the home screen, when I restart the device and when I lock and go log back in.

Upgrading RAM does not void your AppleCare, unless you damage something. Obviously, the self-installed RAM is not covered by AppleCare.

Like this:
Apple: When did you purchase it?
Me: About a month ago, probably less than that...
The above conversation is all that basically that happens. They'll then take it to the back to have it checked and most likely come back with a new one.

OP....You need to give Nintendo a call and yell at them...Don't live with just unpluging the thing all the time...maybe the N will give you a free remote/nunchuck.
Will contact them as soon as I have some free time. I'll let you guys know how it goes down.

You should make one where you see every face from 100% to 0%.. Oh and one where the eyes turn to the Invincible-eyes every 30 seconds or so =P But I loved it. Doom is an amazing game =D

My kids play it on their PCs. It seems fairly open ended in what you can do. You choose the nature of your character and in many ways that shapes the quests you go on. They got the game when it came out and are still playing it occasionally so that is about a year now! Beautiful graphics (on very low-end PCs w FX5500 cards).

Just to point out, my PM was sent a minute earlier than this post :)
Anyway, just let me know on a price and how you would want it paid.

Is there any advantages buying it directly from Apple?
Or is it just as good to buy it from some Reseller ?
Thanks
Theoretically it's the same, practically its easier to return it when you ordered it directly from Apple online...2 weeks returning time if you don't like it.
But resellers might have cheaper prices...

One way you could do it is just make the slideshow in iphoto, it will be a lot easier. The only downside is you wont be able to edit the music.

Hi,
I'm running 3.2.2 JB and wanted to upgrade to 4.2.1, which I downloaded. I try to install and I get the "This device isn't eligible for the requested build". Then I try to restore and use the 4.2.1, and I get the same message. Is there anything I can do to updated, but not get the 4.3? I still want to JB.
Thanks!
