Can you play World Championship Poker online against others? Do you have the boxes? Where are you located? Is $15.00 the price shipped or is shipping more?

Yep, the MacBooks are due for an update. Not sure I believe the black rumour, as Apple has so many 13" laptops now. But I'd be very tempted to get it.

They would be less likely than Roxio... I mean Napster. Though it did seem to be their only profitable thing right now, this still seems strange to me.

This bug was fixed.
This type of syntax will now work as expected:

Ahh thanks for the responses. Sorry for my ignorance, I had no idea 3.0 wasn't compatible, I just assumed it worked since the plug fits :P Yes I am using a new model macbook pro (well waiting for it to arrive, anyway)
You mentioned "when it does gain support" does that mean there is talk of updating drivers, or is it more likely that it will only be supported in future updates of the Macbook model itself?
Also about OWC, I wasn't able to find any that were NOT run off an external power source so I assumed the Western Digital 640gb was the only size available. I'm on the go a lot, so I don't always have a convenient outlet to plug an external into.

I don't think Mac Websites should be a category. and don't think individual sites should get their own wiki page.
In the future we can do a Guide to the Mac Web sort of collective page - the problem with that is competing interests amongst sites.
Also, individual sites can be linked from articles about their respective topics.
The wiki isn't designed to be a site index.

There is still nothing wrong with posting an opinion.
However, members who post an opinion as fact, or repeatedly post the same thing, without adding anything new to further discussion, are going to have to adjust to the new rules.
Ahhh. Now that is an improvement.
Did you see this?:
What are your sources? :D
Copied directly from the Debate Rules page:
Sources: If you make claims of fact but don't cite sources when requested, the posts may be removed. If you started the thread then the thread may be closed or removed.
Repetition: If you repeat the same claims without adding new information, the posts may be removed. If you started the thread then the thread may be closed or removed.
Trolling: Posts that appear to be designed to cause argument or irritate rather than contribute to a constructive discussion are considered trolling and will be treated as such.
Duplicate discussions: If a new thread repeats a topic that has been previously discussed or debated, without basis for a separate discussion, the thread may be closed, removed, or merged into an earlier thread on the same topic. A news report on a previously discussed issue doesn't automatically deserve a new thread.
Sorry for the double post. I forgot I was the last one to post.

What do you think?
Duff-Man says...I think you ought to search before creating new threads as this has been done so many times already:

Sadly probably not. Have you been able to test the Office 2011 Beta? Supposedly MS is focussing on making Office 2011 more like a native OS X Cocoa app. I'll have to try my copy of the beta in VMWare workstation to see if spaces works any better.
The beta worked nice when I tried it. I had the beta 2 for a bit. Word in HALF a bounce. All the other apps the same. It is _much_ faster.

I wouldn't call you an idiot for this, as if not for your cat, everything would be fine...
I would keep it in an airing cupboard rather than in direct sunlight. If it completely froze but stayed on it could be the hard drive.

Thank you for your reply, I disabled 3G and my signal strength was steady at 1 bar. I have my iphone 4 (with 5 bars) sitting right next to my 3gs. It seems taht I might just replace the antenna ribbon and see how that works.

Sooo... Can you do this over 3g, or just wifi?
You must be connected to a WiFi network to DOWNLOAD the shows.
Not sure if you have to be "connected" to anything once the shows are downloaded.

From a software side, even MacWrite 1 (which came with the original Macintosh in 1984,) runs just fine through "Classic" mode on Mac OS X 10.4 on a Power Macintosh G5.
The harder part is the hardware aspect. I assume, based on your description, that this software controls something via a serial cable. If so, while it SHOULD work fine on any Mac with a built-in serial port, there is a chance that it may not.

You might want to look into Extensis Portfolio.

Otherwise, you could always use Adobe Bridge (comes any creative product) to help you search, view and apply tags and keywords to all of your content.
