Silly questions...
Why would a recently hired sales rep be designing a business card?
Doesn't the company that hired you already have an identity/stationery/business card that you should use?
What company allows their sales reps to design their own cards?

What about using a gigabit connected NAS instead? Faster even than FW800, and you can now put it anywhere in your house, instead of having to have it in the same room.

Notice the extra " at the end. That can definitely cause issues.
I also recommend running your page through the HTML validator, which can help identify these kinds of problems.
Thanks. Well noted. I ran my site through the HTML validator and used the HTML-Tidy function to clean up my mark up. It seems the missing "alt" values is what is causing the disjointed presentation of my site on the Firefox browser. It says *PLEASE DESCRIBE THIS IMAGE* under the problematic images that require specific "alt" values. However, I am not sure what values to put under the "alt" sections of each of these images.
You can take a look at my site using Firefox to understand exactly what I am talking about. My site is called www.designosauronline.com
Here is the mark-up after using HTML-Tidy:

Not really sure what my opinion is. I can imagine there being quite a lot of users who would use the separate subforum if it was launched but there is always the issue of perhaps having too many subforums or it being filtered too finely when it could all belong in one section, for instance.
They can't produce complete and useful sentences in the iPhone forums either yet those still exist.
The majority of people here are geeks, and geeks like science.
That's a good counterpoint.

It's totally ripped off from an Oscar acceptance speech by Sir Laurence Olivier.
It was foot-noted/referenced so not technically ripped off. :) It's a good quote nonetheless.
...The one avatar I spend the least amount of time on, wins... go figure. Also special thanks to Sir Laurence Oliver! ;)
**EDIT**
Oh yeah, it's a damn good avatar. Cheers

Is this a latter-day Norman Vincent Peale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Vincent_Peale)?? :confused:Wow, no, but I have to believe Merlin would get a chuckle out of that comparison.
Merlin is best known (as SiMBa37 noted) as a sort of productivity guru; not so much that he's an expert on the topic, but that it's something he's interested in to the point of obsession. So he writes and speaks a lot about that topic. And some people think he does so in a humorous and entertaining way. He is definitely not a "self-help" kind of guy, however, at least not in the sense that Dr. Peale was.
I suppose he's an acquired taste.Yes.
Re: Productivity, I think David Sparks from MackSparky.com has some great ideas. I bought his book Mac at Work on Kindle and its a pretty good read. Thanks! I will check him out.

Go to laptopvideo2go
Download the latest driver from that website and get the modded INF file along with it.
Extract the drivers and replace the original INF file (it's in the Driver folder) with the modded version.
Right click Computer, select Manage, choose Display Adapters, right click NVIDIA GeForce 320M, select Uninstall, reboot.
Screen resolution should be very low at this time. Open Setup in the extracted folder with the drivers.
Install, reboot, you're golden.
One question for you: Are you able to close the lid and have the screen automatically turn off (not sleep, not hibernate, not shut down, just turn screen off)? I updated from the stock Boot Camp drivers to 270.61 and the screen still stays on when I close the lid.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

I just came home from a store with this LG monitor for 249USD and I'm very happy with it plugged into my laptop. It's picture quality is frankly very similar to our 2007 iMac 24" (very nearly identical to me, although my wife - the designer - prefers the iMac).
We couldn't go with the 27" apple monitor as it's incompatible with the older MacBooks (like mine) with the mini-DVI.
But anyway - I'm very happy with it!

The iPhone can't handle Charlie with just an A4 processor. After all, we heard Charlie tell us what the "Charlie Sheen drug" will do to you. You need an A5 for that.

It's the sticker companies, I tell ya.
They started innocently enough with travel badges for steamer trunks. Yet even then it was a sleazy business. Anyone could pretend they'd been to to Egypt just by illegally obtaining such a sticker down by the docks.
When the automobile came along, sticker companies lobbied for mandatory bumpers upon which to stick their wares. Yes, it's true!
Nowadays they've taken over the minds of our children, giving away free stickers just to get them hooked on spending their allowance on Princess and Bakugan versions.
So it's no surprise, none at all, that stickers show up on everyday purchases. The only possible reason why Apple doesn't have any, is because Jobs pays them off under the table. And people think Apple's money is stuck in overseas accounts. Yeah, sure.

Looks to be around 10's of thousands per day.
Here's a couple press releases for Angry Birds, which floats around #1 to #4:
http://socialtimes.com/angry-birds-nabs-30-million-downloads-on-android-beats-12-million-on-iphone_b40929
http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-20013385-233.html
But the number of downloads falls off steeply from the top spot to only a few per day around app #40000 out of 400,000 total apps.
Added:
I found a couple blog posts that attempt to estimate the number of downloads from the App store ranking:
http://ajnaware.wordpress.com/2009/02/17/estimating-app-sales-from-rankings-part-2/
and
http://www.musingpaw.com/2011/04/estimating-iphone-app-store-sales-from.html
Doesn't look super accurate, but the equations are probably more useful than throwing darts at random numbers.

Sad thing is either way people have made up their mind about it. If they think Apple is the bad guy here, they won't be dissuaded, if they think Google is saints despite tracking Google searches you do with some 100 cookies they'll believe it. It's sadly like the birthers, as much evidence, bi-partisan at that, comes to light, people will be ignorant because when you try to beat an idiot with logic and reason they'll drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

My girl used to use a Candyshell (the light blue and pink one). Now she has a pink and white Otterbox Defender and she couldn't be happier which actually shocked me.
Generally, the ladies don't seem care about the actual style of the case or even it's functionality. The seem to only care about the color. Granted that is a blanket statement and doesn't apply to the entire gender but the past couple of girlfriends I've had have had this same attitude towards their phones.
