Yeah I read the entire page yesterday at work. Couldn't stop reading it. Does the book have more material?
'Cause when I got "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" I was disappointed. It had the same stuff from the website with a tiny bit of extra content.
Same thing happened to me with the Tucker Max book. The website for this one claims 60% new material... Thats good enough for me lol.

Try logging back into your account. Did you remember to log out (NOT Quit) iChat from your upstairs machine before you logged in from downstairs?
Quitting iChat doesn't mean you logged out. Logging out means disconnections, not quitting an application.

Those miners would be more use up in Liverpool the chaps at Anfield desperately need advice on how to get themselves out of a hole before Christmas...
I was wondering, "Why the punishment??". :p

You must use TRIM Enabler (http://www.groths.org/?p=308) to enable TRIM on non-Apple SSD.

Couple of networking issues:
- Wi-Fi is laggy (high latency).
- System sometimes emits a high-pitched squeal when using the network. Doesn't happen all the time and seems to depend on how much data is being transferred.
- Keyboard lacks the "internal keypad" that used to be accessible by holding Fn.
I believe that the first issue happens for everyone (edit: no it doesn't), however the second issue doesn't seem to be as widespread.

Many of the later 030, 040 and PPC Macs use surface mount Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors. These leak and corrode tracks (http://www.repeater-builder.com/motorola/spectra/spectra-caps/c635+c636.jpg) on pretty much EVERY piece of electronics they're used in.
From a hardware reliability standpoint, there are two candidates that come to mind as being more reliable due to absence of these caps.
1. Mac SE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macintosh_SE) (not the SE30 which does have these caps). Though these may have trouble with the flyback transformer shorting but otherwise are quite reliable (comparatively).
2. Quadra700 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macintosh_Quadra_700). By far the best choice. You can use a VGA monitor (with a simple adapter) and these use Tantalum capacitors instead of SMD Electrolytic. The only trouble with these may be a dead battery and occasional PSU trouble. By far the best choice (IMHO) - Just not sure about the 040 compatibility.
Oh, and if the interface is RS422/Apple serial port, an emulated machine circa 1998 and later, may be more trouble than it's worth.
BTW, what is the model of the deck/desk and name of the software package?

I can't speak for the C560R as I have the C710. But, Denon in general has been making great IEM's. You get really bang for the buck and the quality is amazing. I had some Sennheiser's before and I used to send them in every couple of months for warranty as they kept dying. I've had my Denon's for quite a while now and can't complain.

I am web developer for a school and of course as much as we don't want to be we must be kind to those (cough) dial-up challenged people :). No offense to all readers who are unable to ubtain "normal" internet. Anyway, I had a loading question regarding Flash. This may be to indepth for this forumn however I am not sure. Does Flash load the entire Flash page before it is viewable or does it allow for individual scenes to load when they are accessed?
Thanks for your help! Any insight is much appreciated.

I like my MBA. No problems with eye strain here. Definitely less strain that my Hi-Res MBP. Also, just a quick outward pinch using the multi touch trackpad increases the font/icon size for most programs. You should be fine.

I bought one in December, just prior to when I got my Wii. It is a very nice TV, and you get pretty great quality and connections for the price.

Requirement is "hard wired"... is there a way to do this with a router or ethernet splitter without slowing down my connection? Or do I have to use one iMac at a time and keep switching the ethernet cable from the iMacs into the DSL modem? Anyone know? I would be grateful for good suggestions?

Keep it. Nothing wrong with a public flogging flagging for bad behaviour: Keeps the masses in line and helps maintain law and order.
OTOH, timing-out folks silently (gagging them, with no public recognition) is reminiscent of hapless, Soviet-era dissidents just "disappearing". A tad totalitarian, no?

I really enjoyed the inline display feature.
Also, any one else experiencing that the app crashes when geo-tagging is on?
are you kidding? That only worked properly a small percentage of the time.
Twitlonger defeats the entire purpose of twitter, and I say good riddance.

It was the only RPG i have ever played. I thought it was a great game, just wish i had bought it for the SNES while it was still for sale a retail stores. I can't really justify spending $50 on a used SNES cartridge. Hopefully it will come out for the virtual console.

Hey I just ordered a white Torrent Touch and hopefully it should be here sometime this week. If people want I can do a review and probably some pictures.
Good.
Sure... But I'm doing the exact same thing, and I just happened to have mentioned it, so don't advertise it here.
What?....

Don't worry it's bound to be delayed.
But for when tragically it will happen I have also been thinking about tombstones, the best i can come up with is 'no more thing'
