I called Applecare. Asked for a senior adviser, and complained about my bad luck of refurbs, ect ect.... Emailed her pictures of my current yellow phone.


Note: I do not have Applecare nor did I pay for the 29$ for advanced replacement. They did, however, put a hold for 500$ on my card.

GOD!! I don't know if I can take it anymore!! I want it SOOOO BAD!! What I was really waiting on was the speed bump because:

A: I am going to be using a second 22in. cinema display, so the resolution on that will give me plenty of workspace, and i can use the PB screen for my tools and palettes... and

B: I already bought the BlueTooth adapter to use with my t68i.... so.....

I'm wondering, since i doubt they will be cramming the big-as-hell IBM power4 lite into the powerbook for awhile, meaning they will be continuing with the G4's in the PB line (or a more powerful Moto chip) do you guys think that I should get the PB now and hope for a processor upgrade from sonnet or someone in the future??

i you use a 3G, don't even bother. It stutters and is pretty much unplayable during high note sections. I'll load it on my iPad and give it a try later. Seems fun, will probably enjoy it with a new iPhone 4 when I get one.

I assumed he doesn't like Starbucks and so chose them to be the butt of his joke. No idea what kind of reputation Starbucks has, but isn't it kind of coffee McDonaldization?

I wondered whether Starbucks being from Seattle was the choice there. Yet another Californian dig at Washington state ;)

Saw an old Asian man in the SF apple store looking at a site that you could rent other men by the hour. Included in the description of the men were naked pictures, he proceeded to take down the phone numbers of each man on a piece of scratch paper. This man had to be in his late 60s looking at guys in their 20s... best part was that he was on the 27 inch imac and a nicer looking elderly lady was next to him completely oblivious... good stuff at the apple store, or maybe good stuff in SF?

I know picture or it wasn't true, but the last thing that I was thinking about was taking a picture of this...

Its called anaglyph, theres a lot of anaglyph software out there to use. Making them by hand probably wouldnt work well.

Next will be Jobs in the Jack costume, of Jack in the box. Now that would be funny. Maybe this: the stoner guy goes into an Apple Store and wants to buy 20 iMacs. Jobs talks him into one loaded MBP. "You really weren't going to watch all 20, were you?" Jobs asked with the incredulous look mouth. After a pause, the stoner says "Y e a h..they're real...colorful, man. I really like the composition and the differently colored areas. Not equally fond of the noisy/grainy stuff though.

Not much I can do about ISO3200 on an original 1D body, and I think that the natural noise looks better than heavily processed noise reduction stuff. Thanks though.
