I am trying to reinstall OS X on my old 2006 MacBook core 2 duo. I have a leopard install disk and a tiger install disk.
On boot up, i get the chime and then it spits the disk right out.
I have made USB images of both to try to install and when I Hold down the option Key, i get the mouse cursor to come up over the white screen but the usb drive does not load into the boot-able options.
any ideas on what i can do?
What i have to help are a
2011 Macbook Pro
2009 Mac Mini

I think you'd probably be able to reset it using the OSX install disks, booting from them and then selecting Reset Password from the Installer menu which will give you a list of passwords you can reset. :)

How is this possible? The Wii's OS doesn't support DVD playback, and you can't control things such as Anamorphic Widescreen...

I can find a good web person or two to do the work for me, incase they are end up being friends willing to do it cheap, how much would the work normally cost (avg type work) so I can pay them what they deserve?
Difficult question to answer, as it depends on several factors: their level and area of expertise, the area you live in, and how complicated the site is.
I've seen trends going towards "packages" for initial setup of a site then a maintenance fee afterwards, and some people still stick with a flat rate per hour. Personally, most of the time I charge $30/hour, but that's the same rate I've been charging since 1998, and even then it was about half the going rate in that area. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you what the going rate is now (it could have crashed with the dotcom bubble burst, for all I know)... People still seem to be willing to pay the $30/hr though.

That's all you need.
Any book or other source that teaches you to code for one specific browser, one way or the other, is garbage.
The idea of CSS-based design on the internet is to bring nice looking pages to people all over. Not the users of one particular browser.
So far I like the Meyers book (he mentions Safari on page 1).
But so far, he's way over my head.
I think I will read the Dummies book to get a good basic understanding, and then move onto the other books.

I'm after an iPhone. 4GB or 8GB. Used or New. Please post here what you have and your price.
Note: Must be UK iPhones and not US imports, as I will be using my legit o2 Sim Card and activating the phone, which can only be done on UK iPhones and not US iPhones.
Thanks.

New Song of the Day.
Today's is a personal fav of mine... but in the future, it will be generated at random from the pool of songs with < 5 recommendations and hasn't been featured before.
Should get people talking about songs more and generate interest.

I was having the same discussion on another forum as well and they all convinced me to stay away from RAID0 for this system, the files are too important to risk for a little speed boost.
The new direction I'm thinking is...
Disk 1: 128GB SSD: Boot Drive
Disk 2: 320GB Clone drive + Time Machine Backup for Disk 1
Disk 3: 2TB scratch/storage drive
Disk 4: 3TB Time Machine for Disk 3
Disk 5: 2TB clone of Disk 3. What do you think, needed?
Then, have an external drive to clone both Disk 1 and Disk 3 that will be off-site.
How does that sound?

You could stop buying Apple products if you feel so strongly about it, but I don't see that happening.
Exactly.
You still feel bad Abstract?

I think the best way to find a good web site builder is to just go to Google, Yahoo and MSN and do a search for "Mac web builder" or something like that. There doesn't seem to be much out there that's just for Mac. What else is new. -- but without mentioning names of providers if that's frowned upon here, I personally had some luck with Google searching on the subject to find a good online program that enabled me to get a website for my business.

No mention of gameplay style,
Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is a Strategy RPG with a First Person view and some random Tank Battles now and then...
...What do you think gameplay/game styles are going to be, it doesn't take a genius...

This (http://aperture.maccreate.com/2010/07/30/share-libraries-between-aperture-users-and-use-dropbox-to-simplify/) should get you started. Just export the folders/projects/albums that you want to keep, choose a "master" and merge them all back together.
Or...
You could just restore from your vault or Time Machine. That would likely be much faster.

Got this about a month ago but used just for a couple hours. I just prefer my revolution.
Comes with box and everything for $42.00 shipped CONUS. The little baggy and batteries are still sealed.
I have had transactions here, on ebay and on head-fi if you are wondering. I can post pics in a bit.
