no it wont tell you if there were any bad sectors
OK, is Drive Genius an appropriate program for this? (scanning for bad sectors) If not, can anyone recommend something?

I'm going to guess Apple doesn't want to change the shape of the iPod touch. It's very thin already, and has been established as a capable device.
Most people think there is to be a camera on the ipod touch which there will have to a hole in the back.

Like I said before, I probably won't have it on a whole lot, it will probably just sit there on display, if anything. I could probably buy a quieter fan for it, since I don't really plan on using it as a server I don't think I would have to worry about it overheating. But I could be wrong about that.
At 1U high, the fans need to run faster to create more airflow. Putting in a lower CFM fan is a recipe for disaster.
It's a 1U server, just like every other 1U server. I'm not seeing the fascination, especially with only 3-4 ATA100 or SATA drives.

The .Mac iDisk I have installed on my computer (from the 30-day free trial refuses to eject when I drag it to the trash can. What can I do about that? How can I get it off??

OP....You need to give Nintendo a call and yell at them...Don't live with just unpluging the thing all the time...maybe the N will give you a free remote/nunchuck.
Will contact them as soon as I have some free time. I'll let you guys know how it goes down.

And the 4gb minis, are really the same as the ones they sold before. Which means they probably don't have and 18 hr battery.
What gives you that impression?

You're struggling with this because you're abusing placeholder text. Just use labels instead.

He's probably rich.
He probably became rich because he doesn't spend on clothes and expensive backpacks. I am digging the green bag.

That's a shame. I really like him. Hopefully he won't disappear completely from tech news blogging.
Blame AOL?
It seems like it is his own decision.

I currently use an iPaq HX4700 pda with a Krusell case so this works as my wallet. Is there a case for a gen 4 Touch that would do the same? Storage for license, ~6 credit cards, a little cash etc.?

FileVault places the contents of your home folder in an encrypted disk image. It cannot have any affect on the ability to erase your drive. Do realize, however, that your data will be gone if you format the drive. I assume you recognize that, but just want to be certain.

This doesn't work for the Verizon iPhone, right?
The 4.3.3 untether works on all devices that actually support 4.3.3 except for the iPad2:

Oh, I'm so sorry to bother you with my silly little Wii problems. I suppose I should be just fine with controllers that don't always control. While I'm at it, I should be just like you and accept that my mouse doesn't always click, my keyboard doesn't always type, and my TV remote doesn't always change channels.
Huh thats what I usually do:confused: anyway im just trying to say it is a common problem and its not like they are going to replace your numchuck.

Well the official videos come from the studios themselves so why are they complaining?
I guess they don't anticipate most people converting from youtube to mp3. But as far as im concerned it's the same as recording off the radio.
