i have a ipad 1 with version 3.2.2 and i want to update it to version 4.2.1 and still be able to jailbreak it. is that possible?? if so can somebody tell me the right way to do it.. thank you
Do you have SHSH blobs stored for 4.2.1? If so you can upgrade to 4.2.1, if not then no. Your only option is 4.3.1, and have you saved SHSH blobs for this version?

Yes, it's confusing. Go to App Store, Purchases, Xcode, then click INSTALL. That won't actually install the product, but is going to put "Install Xcode" into your Applications folder. You launch it, and that installs the new version. Don't pay the $5 one more time. :eek:
Ok, I got the update prompt and DLed it. Now, should I uninstall the previous version first, or just install the new one right away?
This update process is clumsy and, as some people have already said, not Apple-y at all. Here's hoping things'll change with Lion.

Hey,
Yes the it is found in the System Profiler.
It is written when I go to network preferences : Cable unplugged which is wrong. The cable is plugged and the modem is working as checked by the technician.

I remember a year ago my MBP had problems with random freezes. I took it to the Apple store and they were able to find a history of problems recorded by my MBP that says in fact my macbook did freeze several times. I remember he was able to fix it by troubleshooting the problem in that application. However, I forget what that application was to show the list of problems. I'm having the problem again and I really don't want to make a trip to the Apple store..
If anyone knows, thanks!
PS- it's not an application you download. I believe it was system profiler, but I can't find it anywhere on that :S!

apparently, and i have tested this, the G5 optimized version of firefox must have that pretty button thing compiled into it
the css
.TestButton {
border-left: 1px dotted #575757;
border-width: thick;
background-color: #f47272;
color: #575757 font: 14px Lucida Grande, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}
Also you have <button>'s, not strictly form fields, a form button should be <input type="button">, not sure what difference this would make.

I agree, it is a very good film. The acting by Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush and their chemistry is just amazing.

well this ought to keep the open source people very happy.
Seems like apple is trying to do what they can, but not do it in a way which will sacrifice security.
kudos to apple

NEW VERSION
Ok so i've tweaked the texture, tweaked the model slightly and did a little bit more work on it.
http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=268457&stc=1&d=1295794572
EVEN NEWER UPDATE :)
Making more progress.
Playing with textures now.
Model again tweaked a little. I think up till this point it represents about 6/7 Hours work.
I use my little MBP, C4D 11.5 and PS CS5.

I agree an alarm/timer app would be nice. They should be able to do that with just an OS update.
That's the only thing it needs.
No alarm function because there is no speaker. As for the timer, try swiping left/right in the clock app ;)
My wife runs all the time with hers. She uses the Nike+ system along with some very pricey Sony bluetooth headphones with a remote builtin. I almost bought her a Nano because I know it most of the features she wants. However, the bluetooth headphones wouldn't work.
Any tips or should I just wait for the Sonys to day and see about a Nano then?
You can always get a Bluetooth headphone jack transmitter and pair that with a set of wireless Bluetooth earbuds/headphones. This addition goes for CHEAP on websites like eBay, Amazon, Google Shopping, etc., and it's an excellent alternative if you have a non-Bluetooth iPod

I have two displays on my mini - the primary is a 20" Apple Cinema Display, and the secondary is a 17" Dell Ultrasharp somethingoranother rotated into the portrait orientation. I love the intense quality of the Cinema Display, and I've always liked having a portrait screen on my machine.

Does she like Kate Spade stuff? They have a few different cases, both hard shell and rubber that my wife has been switching between lately.
A warning careful about the Kate Spade, its addictive if your girl likes them. They keep indtroducing new cases, the bastards, and my wife just keeps having to have them. Now she's up to 4 hard shell and a rubber case. Add that to the 3 different Blackberry pouches she bought from them plus the 20 or so purses over the last few years and I nearly have a Kate Spade store in my closet! :eek: But hey, she can match her personal electronics protectors with her purses. ;)

I had been using Windows XP in Boot Camp for almost a year and decided to install Windows 7 instead. I am having trouble opening many files. In XP, I used MacDrive to read/write to my Macintosh HD and I have updated it to the one with Windows 7 support, but every program (games) I try to run off of it give me a network error, "Network Error: Windows cannot access (FILE PATH). Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise it might be a problem with your network..."
This only happens with applications on the Macintosh HD.
I copied the file onto the windows partition it runs normally, but i will run out of space soon if I have to keep doing this. Does anyone know how to fix it? Everything worked fine in XP. Thanks.

wow, this guy is really trying to sell a spot in line for 499 at least?
thats ridiculous.
There are people in NOVA that would easily pay double or triple that. Not farfetched at all IMO.
