I can find a good web person or two to do the work for me, incase they are end up being friends willing to do it cheap, how much would the work normally cost (avg type work) so I can pay them what they deserve?
Difficult question to answer, as it depends on several factors: their level and area of expertise, the area you live in, and how complicated the site is.
I've seen trends going towards "packages" for initial setup of a site then a maintenance fee afterwards, and some people still stick with a flat rate per hour. Personally, most of the time I charge $30/hour, but that's the same rate I've been charging since 1998, and even then it was about half the going rate in that area. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you what the going rate is now (it could have crashed with the dotcom bubble burst, for all I know)... People still seem to be willing to pay the $30/hr though.

Other than contact Dev Support or file a bug report no.
You tried the install a couple of times with the same result at the same location? Either it is a hardware issue or to rule it out try the install on another computer to rule that out.

I've been told by someone I know 'in-the-trade' that AA and RAC staff are rather hit and miss. Infact, his words, 'I'd rather have a blind monkey repair my car than them morons'. Tough break on the Mini edesign, hope it gets sorted. Keep us posted.

I'm usually pretty OCD about organizing things. For example my CD collection is alphabetized by artist and in order of release date.
But in iTune I found that keeping my genres pretty broad works best for me. Examples: I have alternative, punk, rock, and metal.

Thinking of my new system (Mac Pro 2.8Ghz Quad-Core) and here is what I'm thinking...tell me what's good about this, what's bad, and what could be better.
Disk 1: 128GB SSD: Boot Drive
Disk 2: 320GB Clone drive + Time Machine Backup for Disk 1
Disk 3: 2TB scratch/storage drive
Disk 4: 3TB Time Machine for Disk 3
Disk 5: 2TB clone of Disk 3. What do you think, needed?
Then, have an external drive to clone both Disk 1 and Disk 3 that will be off-site.
Main applications used are: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, QuarkXpress
Any suggestions or other thoughts?

Why not take it in to get it serviced since it still has Apple Care? That way the buyer won't have to.

As my mac mini's super drive malfunctions(fail to read frequently, vibrating with noisy while reading), I cannot use the super drive to reinstall my mac mini. After googling, I found that the re-installation could be done via Remote Install Mac OS X on my PC. I followed the instructions e.g. hold down Option (alt) key while restarting mac mini. However, it does not show a list of available startup disk and it just goes to the login screen.
My config and setting:
PC:
I selected "Ethernet" as the network connection in Remote Install Mac OS X;
I have checked "Enable DVD or CD Sharing" on my PC(Win 7 64 bit SP1);
Mac:
All the I/O devices(keyboard, mouse and monitor) are non-apple products.
Mac Mini is a Mar-2009 and non-server version.
OS: Snow Leopard 10.6.7
If I don't want to use an external DVD drive, does anybody tell me how to do it via Remote Install Mac OS X?

It will probably work fine but silicone will stretch and lose shape over time plus may get "dirty" looking. TPU is a much better material, you can find them cheap on eBay, usually a couple of dollars. Some of the cheaper cases might not fit as well being that they are made with lesser quality in mind, but thats not to say you cant find a good either. All depends what your looking for.

Regardless, I just wanted to add that Time Machine verifies the integrity of the backup every time it does a backup which is why sometimes you will run into the situation where it will be seemingly doing nothing for a long time--will seem to be stuck on "preparing"--for sometimes hours--it has most likely encountered a problem and has lost its way so it is rebuilding its database--just leave it alone and it will fix iteself. I personally love Time Machine--but I also use Super Duper for my hard drive as well--just in case.

Just a side note that I had the exact same problem with my iPhone and brought it to the Apple store here and they swapped it out for a new one. I am sure you can do the same all iPhones are still under warranty. You may have already done this but i wanted to let you know.

If you just want to output to a 17" display then you would be fine using the screen hack. Where you start to run into troube with the back is outputting to larger screens such as a 20" widescreen or larger. The 16MB of graphics memory (the max that is allocated to the external display) just does not cut it and you will start to notice slowdowns in things like expos�. As long as you are not gaming or doing anything really graphically intensive on your external monitor I think you would be fine with the screen hack and a 12" iBook.

Recently i have installed Lion developer preview 2 Mac Os.
Due to the fact that it was too buggy i decided to install Snow Leopard... i backed up to Time Machine.
And now my mac does not recognize external hard drive and keep writing to me that to open it i need to have Mac OS 10.7
Could you help me with some solutions with my problem ?
