This is strictly amateur analysis but what seems particularly not great about this is that AAPL from basically the beginning of the year had been on a protracted slide down until that last quarterly report came out and beat expectations. Then things turned north. So go back and revise/remove that report... and what happens?
Having said that, if we see the magic phone or next generation iPod in the next month or so, I think people will want in.

Put your tones in iTunes and Bite should see them. I use Bite and ToneFXs and I can make it work (with some small effort). Don't know about the app you use. Also keep in mind that Bite will allow you to assign a separate tone to each SMS contact you have.

What you can do it enable breakpoints and when it crashes you can have a look in the debugger - it will tell you on what line the app crashed on.
AddNewSecondList *SecondListViewController = [[AddNewSecondList alloc] initWithNibName:@"AddNewSecondList"
bundle:nil];
self.addSecondListController = SecondListViewController;
[SecondListViewController release];
[self.navigationController pushViewController:self.addSecondListController animated:YES];
Why do you retain a reference the the navigation controller created here? If you have processing going on in this view you should move that to the Model layer and just create the view each time, like:

I also joined the time. I've got 2 C2D 2.16Ghz iMacs running. They'll be folding 24/7. Hopefully this'll help out!
thanks! we need you! those are some nice machines also, that should help out a lot.

It wouldn't surprise me if even things like the touch wheel and display are different between generations.
The iPod mini had two generations. They looked almost identical. But they had screens and click wheels that were totally incompatible with each other.
It will definitely be the same for the 5.5 gens and classics.

I thought they dropped him? Or he dropped it? Or something like that.
Yah, it's not being directed by Jackson. IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0464037/)
Thanks!
That page is more confusing than anything, it states Jackson, Walsh and Microsoft have postponed the project, and on the other hand states that Neill Blomkamp is now directing it. It also states Jackson asked Guillermo Del Toro to direct and he refused.
Sounds like a fair bit of name-dropping there, anything for a bit of free publicity?

Oh, how I wish iTunes would support several genres... :(
It does. Just use commas to separate them, and you can call upon either with a smart playlist. I have six main genres: pop, rock, dance, jazz, blues and classical. Within those genres, I have several subgenres: alternative, hip-hop, trip-hop, ambient, new wave, r&b, cabaret, live, soundtrack, folk, psychedelic, and some others. My six main genres are also used as subgenres when a song belongs to multiple genres. Examples: Kasabian (rock and dance), Marvin Gaye (pop and blues), Hot Chip (pop and dance), Norah Jones (pop and jazz), Madrugada (pop and rock), Craig Armstrong (dance and classical), and so on.
Then, when setting up a smart playlist that includes all songs with the genre pop, of the examples I used above both Marvin Gaye, Hot Chip, Norah Jones and Madrugada pop up. When setting up a smart playlist for rock, only Kasabian and Madrugada are included. Really easy, yet quite powerful.

well, i do have photoshop.
i do some photoshop stuff too, but i am somehow afraid, that i cannot do justice to the dream i had...
that is why, i thought someone outthere has the time, talent and imagination "to do it for me."
well, as i said before, maybe i should really try hard to recreate my dream.

Ah. Thanks for the explanation. I was trying to figure out why they would be doing this from the individual back to the servers.
I can see why this is such a screwy process. I guess I always thought (assumed) they were threading it but now that you mentioned it I see exactly what you mean.
One thing that doesn't quite make since to me though is why does it rely on networking if it's all local? I know this part must be true because I find that folding frequently crashes and/or becomes corrupted when I change networks.
It seems like this should also make it friendlier to other tasks being run on the system since it will be one multithreaded task possibly making it more flexible. I know right now I frequently have to pause folding or re-nice it if I plan on running any large streaming clients like Netflix.
This is all speculation, as I don't even run the program, but here goes: The only reason I can imagine they would use MPI at the client side as opposed to threading it is that they are already using MPI to communicate back with the main servers. If this is the case, it would be relatively easy (from a learning-curve point of view) to continue on toward using this to communicate at the client side. If you're a grad student who's never written anything multithreaded, it's easier to stick with what you know than to experiment with something new. Likewise, going the multiprocess w/MPI route, you don't have to worry about shared memory or mutexes, so it's easier for the noob programmer to implement. Otherwise, I see no tangible benefit for using MPI like this.
I wrote cluster software with lammpi before I ever began writing multithreaded apps. I can attest that the MPI route takes less brain power. The multithreading route may be simpler to code, but there's a lot more to think about. Even in the professional field, I was the only person at my previous company who was not afraid of multithreading.

If it really matters lacie little big disk is coming out with double SSD thunderbolt drive. It'll blow USB 3 away.
Well if you're using a Mac, your question is moot. OS/X does not support USB 3.0.
WRONG. Accessories can let your Mac have USB 3.0:

I talked to the woman at MTSU who takes care of the Apple stuff today and she said they will be selling it for $69, but they will not be there until Monday. They are only getting 15 copies and you cannot pre-order.
Thinking about going to the Apple store and buying it anyways--I really want the t-shirt! :p Wife says I should wait until Monday!
PSSHH!
hmm...
get leopard and a free t-shirt.. and have a party at the apple store...
or go down the street and get leopard on monday..
not a hard decision for me!
