This is my first time placing an order with Switcheasy. Do they normally send out any communication regarding orders? It just seems odd to me that they wouldn't at least send out a confirmation email.
I have never placed an order with Switcheasy either, but they probably should send out an email of some sort regarding delivery confirmation. Like I said before, I would suggest waiting a few days. I would assume they are fairly busy with the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G case designs and shipments. But I don't think that means they should put your order last. Ask them. I usually get responses from them in a day.

well, this is not good news. I can't believe they would launch a product that would not work.
I saw a video earlier today on YouTube of a guy that received a Rebel Sim that worked without any problems. He didn't even have to dial 112.

How to I add text to the end of an NSString?
Thanks
Create a new NSString with the new one added (either through stringByAppendingString or @"%@ blah blah",oldstring).
Or use NSMutableStrings.

I get to see what the PPC's are selling for in their raw form (public costs anyway ie. $146 US for a G4 500MHz in 44pcs lot [keeping in mind that is just the core before apple plays with it! no wonder apples cost more! Blame motorola]) and motorola is still charging to much for their processors. While Moto's processors may cost more than Intel's and AMD's (for good reason), I highly doubt that they are the sole contributors to Macs "higher" prices. Just look at the profit margin for Macs. They are much higher than any other computer manufacturer.
And the iBook costs a little more than a comparable P3 laptop. There's an IBM chip in there, not MOT.
Blaming Motorola for Apple's high prices is like blaming Nakamichi for the high price of Lexus'. NOTE - this was the only analogy I could think of at 7:30 am... sorry.

Rubin's comments about what Google collects/allows come off surprisingly evasive, and the way he keeps hiding behind "well, it's open source" is an annoying red herring (surprised they didn't call him out for that.)
Jobs' comments are a lot more definite and reassuring but only truthful as long as it's shown that Apple isn't collecting location info from the iPhone database. If Apple is collecting that info then he's full of crap.

I just wanted to post and say Calvinatir is an excellent seller. The product is better then described! The packaging seemed professionally done and Calvin has been extremely helpful answering all my questions. Do not hesitate to purchase from this seller, I sure will in the future! Thanks again Calvin!
Just a side note that I had the exact same problem with my iPhone and brought it to the Apple store here and they swapped it out for a new one. I am sure you can do the same all iPhones are still under warranty. You may have already done this but i wanted to let you know.

I checked out the demo, and it's a no-go for me. Really didn't like the controls, the way the cars steer.

Unplugging and plugging the nunchuk seems to stave off issues for 12-24 hours, but it's been a real annoyance for the past three days. Has anybody else have this happen to them?
Maybe playing for 12-24 hours at a time is the first problem.

The window server controls your displays and what happens in them.
The CGXDisableUpdate is normal, it happens on routinely on my machine.
I don't know what update this string refers to but in my logs it usually follows the sheduled launching of a helper application (in my case iCal) where it seems that the the helper cannot be launched because of a variety of reasons. My interpretation of this is that the window server was probably planning to do something in the display and instead receives a cease and decist order.

I'm a newbie to Mac OS unfortunately... I bought an airbook a few weeks ago - was great at first... it's now randomly freezing on me (and I mean frozen - no mouse movement / can't force quit) so i have to do a hard shut down... I think it started happening when I installed office 2011 and office communicator. I removed both and re-installed... still happening. Is there any logging I can do or logs i can check that would give me an indication of what is causing the problem?
thx

I am managing an Xserve running Mac OS X 10.5 server. Recently, the login window has stopped working correctly.
As shown in the attachment, the "login box" fails to appear. Rebooting the server fixes this temporarily (so far) but after a while the login box disappears again. I am unable to reboot the server frequently as it is hosting live applications (all of which continue to run normally during this error). Also I'm concerned that eventually a reboot will not fix the problem.
I am able to login via SSH with an administrator account and have tried deleting com.apple.windowserver.plist from /Library/Preferences and killing/restarting just the loginwindow and windowserver processes.
I'm at a loss - any suggestions?

I dont know if anyones already seen this or not, but its certainly the first time I have.
Sony have released the GRX516SP VAIO Notebook, complete with built in DVD-R drive!
So this mean the drives are now down at a scale where they can be squeezed into a notebook form factor, in which case maybe seeing a SuperDrive in the next rev of the TiBooks isnt to unrealistic.

Hello everyone! What am I doing wrong? Starting to get frustrated here... :(
Running OS X Server 10.6.6
Works as expected when logged in as the user...
osxserver:~ jim$ ls /Groups/testgroup/
I get a "permission denied", however, when running via sudo -u
osxserver:~ jimsboss$ sudo -u jim /bin/ls '/Groups/testgroup'
I thought about adding "root" to "testgroup", but cannot find a way to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Jeremy
