Had chili and quinoa for dinner tonight in celebration. Vegetarian, of course. Unfortunately the quinoa was Peruvian but close enough.

Wow, what a dumb, poorly thought out article.
Every electronics store has people touching stuff, so do toy stores (which are more likely to have snotty nosed kids, so do grocery stores, and movie theaters, and well, pretty much EVERYWHERE the public is.

The GeForce 4 MX is a lot faster than the 2 MX, but it's most definitely NOT going to run Doom 3 smoothly at 1280x1024, and you'll miss out on the pixel shader effects that are required to use full detail.
If you're familiar with Windows versions of nVidia's cards, the GF4 MX in your dual-867 is about as fast and feature-equipped as the GF2 Ultra, though of course that had 64 MB of memory on it (and was much more expensive when new).
The GF4 MX you have is actually pretty unique, since (outside of the 17" widescreen iMac) all GF4 MX models are otherwise 64 MB, including the one that was available before the current PowerMac iteration.
By the time the GF5 come out ATI is supposed to be releasing an update for the ATI9700 or a completely new card.

Anyone who thinks a desktop IM service (AIM, Google Talk, etc.) is comparable to a mobile IM service (bbm, whatsapp etc.) simply doesn't get it.
i can do anything with beejive that i can do when i've used whatsapp, but have the advantage that i can also talk to people that don't have smart phones.....
BBM is a gimmick that is dying, look at the fact that RIM are now working on making BBM work on android and iOS... desperation there....

Since you recycle bin, just search for it online. Something like "Checkpoints v.*.*" You may have some luck. As for making it think you have an iPhone, not sure there.

I find it hard to understand why anybody would sell a computer that works just fine based upon rumors and wishfull thinking. I also do a lot of video and Audio editing on a 2.5 dual G5, if I did not have it I could not do my work. Even if Dual core comes out, I'd wait to see how it performs when compared to what I already own, before throwing my money at it. Also, the last rumor I heard was San Francisco in January, if I had to wait 3 or 4 months for a dream it would be a waste of time. Hey, but it's all just my thinking, to each his own. Good Luck.

if the sale starts at 5pm then its weird and different than usual. If bestbuy launches on 11th as well i might be there earlier rather than apple store rush hour.

I have my home dir on a separate drive. It's really easy, there's no need to create filesystem links of any such thing. There is a field in NetInfo manager which is the path to your home dir. Just change the path and then copy your dir to the new location.
You won't be able to delete your current home dir until after you reboot.
i know that will work for another drive, but doesnt it read Partitions differently?

Hi all,
I have a few questions if someone doesnt mind answering
I'm getting my first macbook on thursdag! im extremely happy about finally saving up for one, and the main purpose of it will be to learn how to program and create iphone and ipad applications.
heres my line of questions answering just some of em would prove very helpfull for me.
1. Which would be better for programming? macbook air or pro? both the 13" ones.
2. How do i get started? i'm new to programming and some "totally beginners book for the dummies" would be nice If the book contained some code or examples that actually shows i'm doing some progress would only be a plus, for example some test projects - ofc the main thing would be to actually learn the language and start on my own.
3. Should i learn cocoa or objective C first? or both at the same time? What is the diffrence?
4. Is iphone and ipad programming similar and can both be learned by reading the same subjects in a mentioned book?
5. Can i create apps on my own? i have no skills in designing anything, so im wondering if theres maybe some free to use buttons, characters etc whatever u need? or do i NEED to have a designated designer??
I guess it covers it thanks for taking ur time to read! looking forwaqrd to any answers!
Best regards!

Let' say your Mac OS X side uses 2GB of RAM and the RAM is wired* and you assign 8GB to Parallels, and Windows wants to use it, then only 6GB is available to Parallels, as the 2GB is already reserved to Mac OS X and can't be taken away.

However when I sync them to my iPad the summaries are not visible as they are with films, is there any way that this can be changed so they are? It would be very useful, I would say there is even space for it in the app.MP4 files can contain a short description and a long description. For some reason only known to Apple, only the short description is accessible in iTunes, and only the long one displayed on the iPad. You can use 3rd party software (e.g. MetaX) to set both descriptions in MP4 files though.

Well, this message is indeed awkwardly-worded. Anyone who speaks English and uses iTunes will instantly realise that something is wrong with this!
realise???? Uh, oh.... I'm getting prompted on my speaking of English. LOL

how many users untill saturation point of sata?
As others have mentioned, this isn't possible ATM given the lack of information.
If you at least posted the IOPS performance data from that server, it would help.

Other than contact Dev Support or file a bug report no.
You tried the install a couple of times with the same result at the same location? Either it is a hardware issue or to rule it out try the install on another computer to rule that out.
i tried on different hardware
i was thinking maybe i could give a log of something and then someone could see where it sticking

Who really cares about watching DVDs on a wii. I have a wii and i am not complaining about no dvd playback. I have a DVD player, like almost everyone else. I admit though, it is kinda cool, but not useful.
