I'm looking for tiger first of all.
Next if anyone has a battery for cheap that will fit in a 17" powerbook I'll take that
And if anyone has 1x1GB PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM for cheap I'll take that too.
Let me know.

Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iopJFAikaT8) you go ;)
thank you!!
I am about to order 27'' i7, I still don't know if 1gb or 2gb video ram. I think vram is useful for virtualizing windows seven: 512mb vram for virtualbox, the rest for mac os x.
I changed 4 imacs i7 2010 because of yellow tinge issue. I live in Italy, so maybe Apple will send me an imac from the same stock of your one: did apple send it from cork, ireland?
I hope so
thank you!!

I do it as a hobby as of right now, but one of the things that got me interested is that, well, now that I think about it it's rather long. It all started with a discount on the Studio MX suite, then I wanted to see what I could do with the suite, then I wanted to get better and better at web design and have a website until I am where I am today (trying to design my own site, again). It's a fun hobby for me, and will certainly be useful in the future.
On designer's block: well, I was definitely not born a designer, so designer's block is more often than not with me. I usually end up sketching everything out again and rethinking why I wanted something a certain way. Sketches and gray box layouts are a great way to play with things without being worried about the specifics, and it's probably the "easiest" way to be creative.
It's fun stuff, there is a great sense of accomplishment when you finish something, and other people can enjoy what you made. I think that's why I'm in web developing (I know you said design though) for a hobby.

I work for a non-profit social service organization. Two imac G4s were donated for our participants to use. I need to get speakers for them, but we are on a limited budget. Can anyone suggest for me some fairly inexpensive, but decent quality, speakers that I might be able to use? Thank you for your help.

Why is it every time a celebrity dies Elton John's comments have to be quoted? Does any one care what he thinks? I bet he never even met her.
IIRC, didn't they join forces to fight AIDS/ raise awareness in the early 1990s?

I just have switched over to Mac from PC, and got Adobe Elements 9 for the Mac. Not having a lot of experience with iPhoto - it seems to be a reasonable organizer, is there any pros or cons for using iPhoto (with elements being used for photo editing) or sticking with organizer?

I thought the same thing after having my phone replaced earlier this week. The screen feels amazing! Does anyone know how long it takes before it fades off?
I noticed about 5 months for me. Im not a heavy user, but I think it faded off faster from sliding in and out of my pocket.

I'm not able to find a definitive source on this is it true that the Apple Standard Keyboard M0116, as offered as an alternative to the Apple Extended Keyboard circa 1990, uses the same keyswitches, providing exactly the same tactile feedback?
I'm a Model M fan myself, but can't justify the noise in my open plan office. I have an M0116 which I very much like and will use if I can obtain an ADB to USB adapter that works on modern Macs (so, I guess, makes the keyboard look like a USB device rather than adding an ADB port to the computer) but have never tried an Extended Keyboard and am wondering if it's worth seeking one out.

I'll be there, if I'm not working that day! Do you have to pre-order on the 10th to have any hope of getting one on launch day in store, or is there a chance of getting one on the day?
You have a chance if you queue up early enough, Although I doubt that the demand will be anything like the US - Either way the Apple Store is Newcastle covers a huge area unlike the London ones so best to Pre-order, I don't think you need to pay to reserve one anyway so you can walk right in and pay for it and it's there just for you.

Normally I would be... but now not so much.
If the rumors of controller / touchscreen are true then that inevitably must be a pretty expensive controller.
Also 1080p on my TV, with a controller in my hand for touchy screen goodness - Apple ipad and other tablets are all going to be offering this before Nintendo get there. Yes Project Cafe may offer much better graphics than this generation of ipad and tablets, but it will be launching with iPad 3 and Tegra 3+ tablets.
Im interested in what's going to happen, but not overly excited simply because the Wii was my biggest disappointment console wise of this generation.
There were a ton of Nintendo Revolution rumors about touch-screens and we know how that paned out.
Nintendo was the only console maker this generation. The others were closer to generic PCs with the software to match. My only disappointment was the overall stupidity of 3rd party developers that made narrow minded assumptions about the Wii early on and did as little as possible to support it.

I created a Charlie Sheen iPhone App (http://charliewins.tumblr.com/) last week which is in Review right now and should be released at any moment. It is pretty darn funny too. I am actually surprised not to see other apps like this out there. I guess apple just takes a while to approve.
Just curious, these soundboard apps and such, are there legalities over using the audio?

It still shows all instances of duplicates for me. Are you sure you don't have the list sorted in some way that the duplicates are appearing elsewhere in the list (i.e., not by track name)?

One really huge difference between Apple suing someone over a patent, versus Microsoft, Nokia, Kodak or others doing so, is that at least the latter seem willing to license their patents.
Has Apple ever licensed their technology to others? (Excepting the clones way back when.)
This is why I always respect your opinion on most matters. Even though you're on a Mac forum, you present things in a mostly unbiased manner.
