I've wanted to try wordpress, but it seems like all the blogs on there tend to end up looking the same.
You're referring to the WordPress.com service I think, if you go to WordPress.org you can download the files that power a WordPress blog, host them on your own server, and customize it extensively. In fact, I'd bet you'd be surprised how many sites use it.

Hello All,
I got thinking after seeing the iMac G5 and how it was made that there is a good chance that they could make a PDA/Tablet, with OS X, with ease. I have a good feelinh Apple will make such a divice within a year or so. The Apple Newtons on eBay sell for Over $75-200, so Apple making a PDA type divice would be great, there was news that Apple had a newer pattent for a PDA Divice. We can all hope for a Newton again:)...
Thanks All,
Mark Jozaitis

LOL. Climte gate showed the world that junk science and data suppression are the norm amongst these fraudsters, and that they'll stoop to any level to "prove" their preposterous theories. These global warming "scientists" are laughing stocks.
LOL, no.
But it's not all bad news: your "post" has been "entered" in the MacRumors "Best Use of Sarcastically-Intended Quotations" "competition" for "2011." Good luck!

I agree Phil. Just because the affiliate id is 'macrumors-20' doesn't mean, MacRumors is behind it.
On the other hand, suppose this forum is configured to automatically rewrite any link to Amazon with the 'macrumors-20' tag. If that's the case, Arn and the team ought to disclose it. So if someone wants to link to an Amazon page, they'll know what's really going on.

I went from a 2010 13" MBA to a 2011 13" MBP and the one thing I really miss is the screen and the added resolution. Unfortunately the backlit keyboard, ability to change/upgrade my SSD and RAM outweighed it.
If the resolution is the only thing you're concerned with, go for the MBA. While it's not that much of an increase, it feels like it. The images and text are much more crisp and I don't recall any eye strain when using my MBA. Also the "glossy" scren isn't nearly as glossy as the MBP, so you don't get near as much glare.

The celeb was Lindsay Lohan. She dropped it when she crashed her mercedes. That means that there must be at least 1,2,3,4....well too many to count out there, if you know what I mean ;)

Personally, I wouldn't. While the size of the display is the same same, resolution differences MAY cause issues.
Also, with the front-facing camera (if the screen protector covers the entire front of the device), it will be covered.

I thought when you sync an iPod to a computer, it would update its time according to the computer/laptop.

I always order fully loaded BTO from Apple along with Apple
Care, its expensive but removes any concerns. Its easier also.
Reputable retailers mean there are no concerns.
As far as easier...I suppose it is easier for someone who can afford to spend twice as much on memory to save them a trivial amount of labor.
Different strokes for different folks.

It coped last time, so fingers crossed :)
Going by the speed I'd guess it's a dedicated server, so it can handle itself.

I'm not able to find a definitive source on this is it true that the Apple Standard Keyboard M0116, as offered as an alternative to the Apple Extended Keyboard circa 1990, uses the same keyswitches, providing exactly the same tactile feedback?
I'm a Model M fan myself, but can't justify the noise in my open plan office. I have an M0116 which I very much like and will use if I can obtain an ADB to USB adapter that works on modern Macs (so, I guess, makes the keyboard look like a USB device rather than adding an ADB port to the computer) but have never tried an Extended Keyboard and am wondering if it's worth seeking one out.

Ah, i can't believe i overlooked this...this can be accomplished with tailDash (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/17833)
tailDash is a widget that uses the unix command "tail" to display any log/txt file on your comp.
Just select your unitinfo.txt under advanced and set the refresh for whatever (i have it set to 1) and voila...take a look:

Hi
I looked around before I posted, but didn't find this question and answer. Apologies if it's been asked a hundred times before.
I leave my phone on vibrate almost always.
When I am talking on the phone, and get an email or text, the phone vibrates in my ear.
Is there a way to set the vibrate for email and text alerts to turn off whilst talking on the phone?
Thanks for any advice,
cinco

take a good look at a hosted Kerio Connect solution. Much more cost effective. Just Google "Hosted Kerio" and you will find cost effective, true love ;)
