I read in the National Enquirer while standing in line at the Safeway that Obama is gay and had an affair with Colin Powell.
Now everyone's freaking out over the "news" from the National Enquirer Steve Jobs dying in 6 weeks?
Are. You. ****ing. Kidding. Me?!
Un-****ing-believable.

It works, and it is just usable (on a fast system), but it is not a complicated app to write at all - basically just a nice RealBasic frontend to qemu. Amazingly, despite qemu's shockingness on x86/x86 virtualisation, its PPC emulation is quite good?? Don't know what happened there ;)

The article could just say "Drop the price" and it'd sell. Make it the same price as the DS Lite with a good sized memory card and I'll get one, or just do away with Memory Pro Stick Duo (or whatever) and use SD cards.
There's just some invisible line, consumers don't like paying more than a certain amount for an item. Handhelds the price seems to be 130+, consoles it's 300+
PSP & SoTN for 100 and I'd be a very happy bunny. I'd even buy Monster Hunter 2 and VCS if they were priced (in VCS case) alongside their PS2 counterparts.
The price thing is probably not credible in the short term, but would clearly be A Very Good Thing. Sony aren't going to let go of the MagicGate DRM for a start.
The biggest hurdle for the PSP I think is the early marketing which emphasised it as an all-round entertainment centre, something which is in theory brilliant until you note the pretty lousy battery life. If it could last 10 hours or more then it'd be an absolute smash hit, or if it could easily take a commonly sized disposable battery.
As it stands, I find that it's a device that a lot of people buy, really like, but for whatever reason don't use as much as they thought. Battery life is one reason of course - that it would crap out less than half way though a mid-Atlantic flight is preposterous, frankly - but another is that it really isn't that portable. It doesn't easily fit in a pocket without clearly making a lump, and it requires two hands at all times, making it difficult to use standing on a bus/train. Furthermore, the screen isn't usable in direct sunlight.
I'd say the PSP is a really good device for use around the house and those who frequently stay away from home with access to powerpoints, but it isn't good for commuters purely because of the screen issue, a key key problem for such a thing. Those, sadly, are the PSP's fatal flaws.
It has so much potential, it really is a powerhouse device that can do so so much - dare I say that it's one of the most impressive devices for its price out there? It's just a few major flaws which let it down so much.
For the record, I own one and find that whenever I use it I love it, but it isn't as often as it should be for a device of this price. Using it as a commuter in on the bus in the summer wasn't credible due to sunlight.

Hey guys
After some wifi advice for my airport extreme.
My iPhone 4 can see the wifi and used to be able to connect but when it did the data was incredibly slow-a lot slower than 3G. Now though it can see it but won't even connect.
My iPad uses the same connection (but a 5ghz signal) and is perfect.
Is this a set up issue? What settings are considered the best for the iPhone?
Thanks guys

Am I the only one who didn't like gears of war? I just thought it was incredibly boring. I couldn't stand more than 1/2 an hour playing it.
A movie based on it? The only good game => movie crossover I can think of was the tomb raider movies, and they we're only slightly above average. The mario movie was fun in the stuipest sense, but not good in the least.

"When the App store is open for submissions, you will be able to download a tool to perform receipt validation"
what does it mean??
Currently i am getting a popup trying to download the receipt file. But not getting it downloaded.
I had not submitted the app yet to App store and had not completed the steps to perform (entries on the iTunes based on the application too).
ie, the further steps that are shown in this link
https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa/wo/2.0.9.7.3.1.0.1
are also not completed

So I have been trying to find an original, not a reproduction of an apple store shirt and I hadn't been able to find them anywhere. Every time I have gone to the store and asked an employe they have always told me that they don't sell them. Yesterday I did my usual rounds on craigslist and I came across someone that either is an ex employ or knows an ex employ because they had a whole bunch of different original Apple store tee shirts for sale! I already Bought a few! but they still have plenty of shirts available and I thought I would pass along this news since I know that just like me there are people that would do anything for an original apple shirt. As in a REAL ipod not a square little touchscreen.
Something with real menus... some kind of separate control pad (touchwheel or whatever)... crossfade etc
Sounds like you want an iPod Classic

Hi everyone, I'm looking for someone who has opened up their Wii before. The 4 screw on the bottom of my Wii will *NOT* come off (yes, I have the tri wing screwdriver), so I'm thinking of drilling off the heads of the screws. Does anyone know if this would allow me to open up the Wii, or would it still be stuck together? Do the four screw on bottom need to be holding it in place for the Wii to later work? Afterwards I won't be able to have them work, obviously. and no worries, it's not for hacking, it's to get the buzzing sound to go away. Thanks for any info on it.

Hmm, have you tried rebooting your MBA? Try that see if it works. If that doesn't work I would suggest trying it in another browser to see if it works then. If that still doesn't solve it, I think you should re-install Mac OS X using the software reinstall drive that came with your MBA. If that doesn't fix it, bring it in to an Apple store or call Apple to setup a Genius Bar appointment.
Good luck!
Good luck!
