Breathtaking! Thanks! :)
Makes you think how we're all in this (whatever "this" is) together....
The OP also reminds me of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at_f98qOGY0&feature=channel)... ;)

Hi all,
today I purchased a stylus that's compatible for iPad and iphone..
It works perfectly on these devices, but somehow when I try to use it on trackpad of my macbook pro.....the cursor moves perfect except it won't perform the function of a "click"...
All it ends up doing is just moving the cursor which won't let me draw anything because it doesn't "click"...
I need help!!!

Opening up iCal server is needed to build a collaborative system on OSX. I can see opening up source code as a way for the development community to create killer apps under CalDAV.

If you're putting you music in itunes you may as well put your vids in there.
I'd personally keep them in folders and get Plex.

Well technically... there was a Santa Claus. But he's dead now. Sorry kiddies. He died hundreds of years ago. "And you can find more information at your local library".
Anyway, we can all kind-of assume that EVENTUALLY Moto will release a 7470 or whatever, since they have a 74** series going. Unless of course they go under, or Apple goes to IBM, or they rename the series, or call the next chip the 7456, or what ever.
But calling the 1.25 GHz an overclocked 1 GHz before they even start selling them, is jumping the gun a bit. That's like calling the new 2.8 GHz P4 an overclocked P3 (wait, bad example). Everyone seems to be forgetting that the FSBs are actually 4 x 100 and 4 x 133 (DDR 100 and 133 for AMD). 167 w/ DDR333 is actually pretty cool. Even if it is bastardized.
Don't get me wrong. Apple IS competing against the world of WinTel, and they aren't doing so well in speed or price. I, for one, like it just as much when people have legitimate complaints as when they have a legitimate complement. If we just accept the way things are, they'll never get better. Macs are easier to use, more stable, etc, etc... but they're not as fast. And "Apple is a business" is not a good excuse. It just proves my point. So stop saying, "if you don't like it go buy a PC".
Cuz they will. Duh.
If the new Dual 1.25s are as fast as a ~2 GHz x86, I'd be happy. Have you ever tried to edit video on a PC? Zero to Crash in 60 sec. If the iBook can do some basic stuff like typing letters and surfin' the net, and it's pretty affordable (and light, and sturdy, and has a long battery life), I'm happy. Benchmarks, shmenchmarks, it's real world performance that counts.
When I feel like Apple's acting like M$ (yeah, that's right, I said it), and a >$1000 PC can whip the *** of the $3000+ "Top-of-the-Line" Mac, I'm not happy.
And believe me, yer gonna hear about it.
Now where are the darn 7500 G5s we were promised (please note sarcasm).

Hi, I looked up another thread on this but it didn't seem to encompass my problem effectively.
I have already created my partition in bootcamp and have downloaded Windows 7 from the internet. I have this file now that doesn't work. Can you guys help me out by recommending a virtual machine or how to burn it to a dvd (I don't really have any around, so this should be a last resort if possible)
Thanks!

How can they allow takeovers of markets like this?
Banks don't care... if you have been following the non-corporate media lately you will see the banks and elite bankers in the world are trying to push forth the NEW WORLD ORDER - this is DEAD REAL.. i suggest you look at it.
I hate banks and how they ruin everyone who gets in their way..

It seems that you're trying to save the video to the media browser. If so, you get to choose which sizes you want by checking the corresponding boxes after you choose Share->Media Browser.
If you don't want a certain size, go to the very bottom of the Share menu, Share->Remove From->Media Browser.
It shouldn't be rendering all sizes automatically...No I am not at the point of saving or sharing yet. I finished the project and then chose File>Finalize Project and at this point it starts saving it in the four formats.
I found some information in the Help Menu (http://help.apple.com/imovie/interface/index.html#mov3af11e54) but no specific answers.
Thank much

So that you can chat with people from your couch on a big screen instead of having to sit around a small computer monitor. A head shot is not the only use of ichat AV that would be popular. Grandparents, for instance, would be thrilled to watch kids crawl, walk, play, etc. in live color on their TV set.

I wish there was a way to track down these people and cut their balls off.
Sure, few here would fall for this but there are millions of not-so-tech-savy people who fall for this sort of thing

I've had no problem with the TDK 2x media in the 104 and 105 superdrives. Also, the Apple 2x and 4x media work as advertised.

These are a great value if you can snag them with a 50% coupon. I own them and have no complaints for the price.
Yep, that's how I got mine! Wouldn't pay full price but I have been quite happy with them.

But for $599 you get what you pay for.
You can buy two Mac minis for the same price as the lowest priced iMac.
As it is with the iMac, each Mac mini comes with OS X Leopard, iLife 08, and a compact yet attractive form factor.
Thats the basic comparison. Inside, each Mac mini comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo that compares favorably with the basic iMac.
The new Mac mini is the same price as the old version, still comes with Airport Extreme built-in, runs about as fast as an iMac, and now has a full gigabyte of RAM.
(vs. the base Mac mini with a slower CPU and combo CD/DVD drive).
Add another $98 for Apple Keyboard and Mighty Mouse.
An Apple 20-inch display is somewhat comparable to the iMac 20-inch display, but costs a whopping $599 by itself.
The Mac mini looks pretty good in a similar setting for a mere $599 (plus the cost of OS X Leopard Server).
Seems like you are a few years behind the times. The basic mini is now $699, not the same price as the old version. You can't buy two minis for the price of an iMac. It comes with OS X Snow Leopard and iLife '11. It has 2 GB of RAM. It has an older Core 2 Duo instead of the i3 in the basic iMac so is slower. But it is 2.4 not 2.0 GHz. No combo drives anymore -- they are all superdrives. No Mighty Mice anymore, it's now a Magic Mouse. The 20" Apple display hasn't been around for years, and the only Apple display available is the 27" which costs $999. There are no 20" iMacs anymore. A tricked out mini system (8GB RAM, max hard drive, 2.66GHz processor, wireless keyboard, mouse, and display) now runs $2336, which puts it within $60 of a Core i7 27" iMac with a faster, larger hard drive.
The mini server you quote at $599 + the server software ($499) is now a much better deal at $999 for the server version of the mini which has two 500GB 7200rpm hard drives.
