tried it on a mac and a windows and it still dont work.
i downloaded the recovery thing and there was 2 programs. 4.2.1 and 4.3.
i picked 4.2.1 because i am on 3.2.2 but want to go to 4.2.1
when i run the program it says
Found device in DFU mode
Checking if device is compatible with this jailbreak
Checking the device type
Sorry device is not compatible with this jailbreak
Exiting libpois0n
logout
[Process completed]
Okay that says your not getting the 4.2.1 firmware to take...
Get firmware here; http://appldnld.apple.com/iPad/061-9857.20101122.VGthy/iPad1,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw
Note on a windows system you'll need to rename iPad1,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.zip to iPad1,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw
Is this what you are doing?
1). Get the latest TinyUmbrella.
2). Open TinyUmbrella
3). Plug in your device and save SHSH (make sure 4.2.1 SHSH were saved, if not don't bother continuing.
4). Start TSS Server (If you get errors read the help section or FAQs or comment below typically it fails because you have some kind of web sharing enabled... use google to fix it - your issue really not much I can do...)
5). Open iTunes
6). Select your device in iTunes
7). Shift(windows) / Option(Mac) restore -> Select the 4.2.1 ipsw (iPad1,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw)
Restore SHOULD error with a 1013 error. Click the "ok's" and close iTunes.
8). With your device sitting with the usb pointing to iTunes (recovery mode), enter DFU by pressing and holding HOME + POWER until your screen goes black... then after a count of 2 (1.5-2 seconds) let go of POWER but keep holding HOME. If all goes well you will see nothing but a black screen. If your timing is even a LITTLE bit off, you will see the apple logo and your phone will boot back into recovery mode... Go back to step 8 and try again.
Start 'Fix Recovery'
Click 'Yes'
Your device's screen will turn white and you'll see debug boot information.
Eventually your device will boot into the activation screen.d
Congrats. You're on 4.2.1 (again)? :)

nope you are allowed to test prototypes, just not offer them for sale without FCC approval.
As an employee of a phone manufacturer, I just wanted to vouch for that - you can use the devices for testing; you just can't sell them. Absolutely correct.

I have a general rule... If I can't figure out what the site is for/about in under 30 seconds, I close the window or go back to where I came from.
I'm not wasting my time on pretty if there is no usability/understandability.

Well, Digg had this two days ago...
Anyway, I wonder what impact this will have on their stock this quarter.

He's probably rich.
He probably became rich because he doesn't spend on clothes and expensive backpacks. I am digging the green bag.

Yeah, it's a feature only available to sysops. A "rollback" link appears on diff pages, which reverts the page to the last revision made by someone other than the user being reverted, and adds the reversion comment.
See here (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Reverting#Admin-only_.22rollback.22_link) for more information.

yeah $1500 is right. i think that someone will crack and have to buy it.
Good luck selling it for that price. I've got a premium unit (with Kameo, extra wireless controller, charge kit) listed at BIN $999 and have gotten little interest. I've even offered to ship it for free. I am hoping I can sell it for that price, otherwise I may just have to actually keep it, or god forbid give it to my dad for xmas. :p Good luck with selling yours.

OK, Easy ones first.
Don't host it on your Mac. You probably don't have a static IP address from your ISP and you really don't want the hassle of keeping it running if you are going to be working crazy hours and out of town on business.
You need to investigate Web hosts, to see what plans they have to offer you. Templates, pre-made gadgets, and a content management program (where you can update your pages just by logging in with a Web browser) might all be things that would make it easier for you. You'll find dozens of hosts advertising in the back section of computer magazines.
Consider hiring someone to do the initial setup. A website that an amateur builds, even if they work really hard at it, will still look like a good but amateur website. A graphic designer with website experience can bring your site's visual appeal head and shoulders above the standard Template driven or standard-issue site.
Find out what your employer's policy is on external websites -- often, a company will want to enforce standards of graphic design, security, product information and claims, copyright and legal information. Having an outside website representing their products could create a risk or liability situation for the company. They may already have a means to allow their sales reps to maintain contact pages on the corporate site.
If this is not for the medical equipment business, find out what your employer's policy is on moonlighting....
Avoid the .biz domain like the plague -- it is the TLD of choice for scammers and offshore frauds.

WMV. Vomits!!! :) I have Flip 4 Mac which I use for converting this bastard format my "odd" clients sometimes give to me. They offer a free plug-in for playback you peeps should check out. BTW, MS bought this company the other year right when they pulled their MASSIVE-POS WMP from OS X.
Video, one more notch on MS's mediocre belt.
Oooooh, motion control...
How ironic is that... this is M$'s mode of operation. They did it to Bungie and now Flip 4 Mac. No matter what they do, they can't keep the Mac down. :apple:
