HEEELP!
I am multi camming and when I am trying to drag between the two clips to edit the cam cuts, it speeds and slow.
Can someone help? I need to knock this edit out immediately. I think I'ver rendered to many times and would only be able to fix this by re multi camming, right?

My understanding is that the SSD (as well as HD) will be powered off completely when entering the sleep mode, thus it should not use any power at all.

Try a clean re-install of Lion.. remember, its a beta and it is subject to bugs. If you did not have this problem before, I would try a clean install.

When I used my iPhone 3G I always used Opera Mini. It was faster on Edge and more pages were compatible with it than Safari.

I've written several iPhone and iPad apps now selling in the App store on an MBA 11. Screen size of the 11 isn't a problem for me.
I started my development work on a Macbook and found it pretty hard going but not impossible. It was frustrating trying to resize and reposition windows all the time.
Eventually I bought a used Mac mini off ebay and use that with a Samsung monitor running at 1920x1080. Much, much easier to work with.
Having said that, your Macbook will be great for you to start getting your hands dirty. Good luck!
RTP.

AppleInsider is reporting (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/10/08/19/apple_testing_ios_4_1_alongside_next_gen_ipod_touch_ipad_and_unknown_product.html) today that Apple's iOS 4.1 beta contains references to several unreleased iOS devices, including "iPod4,1", "iProd2,1", and a curious "unknownHardware" entry.Apple is internally testing the first material update to its iOS 4.0 mobile operating system against a handful of new devices, including next-generation iPod touches, an iPad revision, and an "unknown" product, AppleInsider has discovered.
According to people familiar with the matter, the latest beta of iOS 4.1, due to ship in the coming weeks, includes three new "Configuration Descriptors" within its USB configuration files -- all of which pertain to devices that list "Apple, Inc." as their "manufacturer" -- as can be seen in the screenshot below. The significance of the report is unclear, however, as all of these references have been known for quite some time. The iPod4,1 and iProd2,1 references first appeared (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/04/05/iphone-os-3-2-reveals-references-to-new-iphone-ipod-and-ipad-models/) in iPhone OS 3.2 back in April, with the iProd widely believed to be a second-generation iPad device. The iProd2,1 designation showed up again (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/08/16/new-iphone-and-ipad-models-set-to-begin-field-testing/) just days ago in configuration files showing devices that could be auto-activated for field testing by carriers.
The "unknownHardware" entry, while curious, is not new either. The exact same entry popped up (http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/03/19/evidence-of-new-iphones-new-ipod-touch/) in iPhone OS 3.0 way back in March 2009. It also carries some significant differences from entries for Apple's other devices, including a lack of a name and description and a five-digit product ID number compared to the four-digit, mostly sequential ones used in other entries. As such, it seems likely that the entry is a placeholder or sample code of some sort, and it is nearly impossible to read much of anything into the information.

Damn. Seems more trouble than it is worth. I think I'll just upgrade my boot up HD to the largest HD I can afford. Apple has to make this easier for the end user.Well, I've got a 7200RPM external drive and it isn't really any trouble.

It seems that you're trying to save the video to the media browser. If so, you get to choose which sizes you want by checking the corresponding boxes after you choose Share->Media Browser.
If you don't want a certain size, go to the very bottom of the Share menu, Share->Remove From->Media Browser.
It shouldn't be rendering all sizes automatically...No I am not at the point of saving or sharing yet. I finished the project and then chose File>Finalize Project and at this point it starts saving it in the four formats.
I found some information in the Help Menu (http://help.apple.com/imovie/interface/index.html#mov3af11e54) but no specific answers.
Thank much

There wont be any iPad's by that time. We'll simply have iPhone's that unfold into a 10 inch screen if you need a larger screen surface for what you're doing. :D
The iphone 20 stretches to any size you need.
Hopefully I can keep my current iphone unlimited data plan that I have been grandfathered into. :)

Think about what you want a tripod head to do. Traditionally, there were head with 3 controls (up/down - swing left/right - rotate left/right) - and quick release (one control for all movements). Of course there are hybrids in between.
The formal is most useful for landscape type shots. For example, you could fine tuned the rotation so the horizon was level - by pointing the camera down until the horizon was near the top edge (really easy to eyeball how straight it is). Then you panned up/down to put the horizon on the exact level you wanted. And since the rotation control was locked down you knew the horizon was going to stay level. And then finally you can pan left<-->right knowing that the horizon is set.
The quick release (pistol grip) allows you set it up faster. Good for sports, for instance. But I find them frustrating when trying to frame a subject precisely (when I've tried out other people's tripods).

The WiFi music sync in Blackberry Desktop Manager 2.0 for Mac OS X *only* works with Blackberry OS 6.
There is only one currently shipping OS 6 device: The Blackberry Torch on AT&T.
No wonder RIM's marketshare is plummeting like a rock. The non-advancement is breathtakingly stupid.
The FAIL is YOU for not READING.
WIFI music sync is specific to BB6 and was not promised for BB5 or lower devices - upgrade or pucker up. MAN you guys complain WAAAAY too much. Also BB6 is on: 9800 Torch, 9780, Style, and officially released by 1 carrier for 9100 Pearl (yet you cannot update other carriers firmware when using BBDM for Mac - you CAN using Windows or VMWare with Windows).

Lol. Yeah. Well the theme is made to be old skool.
And you were up in the club, dancing like your mom and your pops, word? :p
I'd like it a lot if it came in a mini version, FWIW...I feel like most FF themes have icons that are way too big, esp. on a 1024x768 laptop screen. They are more at home at 1280x1024 on my desktop.
But I do love the colors. Do yo' thang, boy! :)
