These "updates" have so far added up to more data than on the original Discs! Worst Office packages ever. Why don't they try realising a complete version for a change instead of selling half-assed ones

i use handbrake and VLC.
Works great.
Then i put them on my AirVideo server and have access to all my movies on the fly! (iphone app AirVideo)

Just looking for a AirPlay enabled dock or speaker system that'll allow me easily stream audio from my iDevices. Does any one have anything like this or have any recommendations? The easier the system is to use the better. Looking to keep it under $300. Thanks!

Well I really don't like taking chances after what happened to m other iBook G4 1.42:eek:. And I have to take my iBook to school back and forth everyday. Take it to school and then take it to my Mom's or my Dad's [whose ever day(divorced parents)]. And I really think that my iBook is going to get broken or something is going to happen. So my solution: get another computer. And the computer I'm going to get is the eMac. The iBook will come over if needed, but will primarily be used at my Dad's house. The eMac will be at my Mom's house. She is helping out A LOT - $500. I would use my PC but, she took it away from me as I was bringing my iBook over all the time so she was like, what they hey and gave it to my brother. I can't get it back. So, I'm stuck, and the eMac is the sollution.

You don't need to do the File --> Finalize Project. Just go to Share and Export Movie and then select the type of file you want. It will only save one file in the format you choose and not four different ones. See attached screen shots.Thank you very much. Now I understand, I was thinking "Export" meaning sending it out to something.
Of course, now I have two more questions: :D
1. What is the best place to save my movies to, I believe the default is "documents"?
2. How can I access the the redundant formats and delete them?

What we really need is lower prices.
If the new models dropped to say, 2299 & 2799, I think there would be a lot more of us upgrading from older PowerBooks.
Apple's PowerBooks represent pretty good value but they are a bit too steep for most people these days. I no longer feel I can justify spending over 2500 for a laptop.
The SONY & Toshiba DVD-R laptops cannot be taken seriously. The media drive is way too large for the enclosures and it looks ridiculous in the SONY model. I think they just did this as a publicity stunt, just for the atention & press. The SuperDrive would be an awesome addition to the PowerBook but I would rather wait than end up with a thick, heavy enclosure.
These Toshiba drives also only burn at 1X. Well, I'm burning a DVD at 1X speed right now (I tried some new, cheaper media that turned out not to be capable of 2X) and it's ridiculous. Most Mac users actually DO things with their machines, we can wait for DVD-R drives that are actually meant to be used.
