The Belkin Grip VUE (http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=500013) is really awesome. Not bulky, but the material is sturdy while flexible (NOT silicone :D). The only problem is that the clear case yellows (at least mine has) so i suggest getting the darker colored one.

Definitely not China if you're going for the 3G model, since it requires extra approval from multiple government agencies, and the first generation of iPad WiFi+3G hasn't made it to the market so far...

right, and we all have 20Meg /s net connections with unlimited bandwidth...

    pfft

They should offer the option of the HD download, just like for their movie trailers. If you have the bandwidth, download the HD. If you don't, download the SD. I won't be buying til at least DVD quality (unless maybe if I upgrade my ipod between now and then, I'm still using a 3G).

The hyper-threading that the i7 has isn't going to do you any good unless you do calculations, processing (photos and the like) or 3d rendering and not just small bits here and there, but lots of it - big batches of the stuff.

So, what are you doing with your iMac and what do you think you'll do with it in the next few years?

Hi, I use my time capsule as my main wireless net connection.

I also have an airport express in my house for airplay in another room and an Apple TV for airplay etc...

If I connect to my Time Capsule network for internet on wireless I cant seem to send music to my airport express, although it is still visible.

If I connect to my airport express from my computer it will then appear as a device for airplay and my Apple TV, Computer and Express will all work...

I do have a work around of just connecting my computer with Ethernet for net, then using my wireless on my mac to connect to my express although this is not ideal....

Would rather connect to my time capsule and have all devices visible...

    Thanks!

It tinted the images green when re-processed or imported under the new RAW 3. So happy to have this fixed!
I hope they fixed this tinting problem on more than just the 3 cameras listed-- I've been having the problem with my D80 and Aperture 3 is dead to me until this is fixed.

Why couldn't the camera-specific details live on a central website that the software drivers could pick up "live" when needed, and cache for later, so we wouldn't keep having to pick up these updates to keep up?
That's kind of what's happening, no? In this case, the driver is picking up the details through Software Update hitting the Apple config website.

Let us know how sore you are 24-36 hours after the wreck. That's when it usually kicks in.Reading the date/time of the first post, the accident occurred on September 17th and it has been well over a week... So perhaps our good doctor doesn't feel too bad? :p

My experience with a seemingly similar problem was with my Windows machines, but I think it applies. I would check the screen saver and power options to what they are set to, it seems like it is trying to start the screen saver but it fails for some reason.

Also, I would be surprised if you didn't see something in the system logs telling you what was happing.

Well I put the Xbox 360 on ebay. My user name on there is rhelfrey. If you wanna check it out go ahead. I am still taking offers here if you have anything to trade. I can cancel the auction anytime. I'm sorry that some people are upset that I am doing what everyone else is doing but I have debts to pay and I'm also a student so it's going to help me a lot next semester.

There is a program called iSync in your Application folder, if that is what you're referring to. You can sit it right in the Menu Bar, and that allows manual syncing from MobileMe and iDisk and whatnot. It also shows when a device (iPhone, iPod, iPad) is syncing data from the computer. I forget if it also spins for Time Machine. It's basically also the indicator to show your computer is syncing anything, in addition to the manual function you're looking for.

I rebooted my machine in 32 bit (by holding down 3 and 2 during restart) and then ran the firmware updater and it recognized it! Everything seems to work normally now...

HA! I will never install this program on my machine EVER AGAIN.
When they came out with it, it installed a TON of crap on my machine, plus it really screwed up my computer and I had to re-install a ton of software.

    Goodbye Avid.

Best? "Cool" perhaps, but a pain in the ass to navigate.

This is one of the reason I don't like Flash.

sorry I stepped away to grab a bite to eat and I'm responding on my phone, will be back at my computer in 10-15, I will respect the order of posts/pm. And yes you can turn the volume up and change volume setting in the settings. Not original box bit I have a brand new box to ship it in. Oh, and it's its any consolation or 'bragg' this was the iPhone of a celebrity :)

well we can only "bragg" if we know who the celebrity is. Who???
PS: I call dibs after the rest!
