I love it, must have taken a lot of time. However, most of my clients would rather pay me half as much for a "simpler" get the job done site.
Personally though, I think it's way cool.
I bet all those timelines and layers caused someone some Flash nightmares.
;)
Oh, if you click on big black pencil the pencil turns into a curser and stops writing.

Thanks for the compliment 100Teraflops. The mini shown there is an Ork scrap prospector, circa late 1990's. I really like the pewter Ork models from that era
Most of the minis I work with are Games Workshop products. Their Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 games definitely inspired much of the Warcraft/Starcraft concept art. So much that there are supposedly lawyers involved. The story goes that Blizzard wanted to make the Warhammer strategy games, but GW had other developers lined up to make them. So Blizzard sort of tweaked things enough to call it their own game. There are still tongue in cheek references to the Warhammer universe in WoW and other titles :D
@ Full of Win, I didn't know a reverser ring was an option. I'll definitely look into that!
@ gnd, Just saw your reply. Might not be able to get away with it after all :p
Thanks for clarifying the origin of the character and the background information. Happy shopping for a camera! :)

When I was where your at now, someone told me to register a domain name from other than your web host. The reason they gave is that they won't have control over your domain name or do any monkey business with it. Not saying that's true or false, but that's what I was told once.
Also what would happen if you did register your domain name with your webhost but then later decided to change host. Could you point that domain to other host like you can at GoDaddy? Or are you stuck with that webhost?
For ASO, they don't mess with the domain, and after (I think) 60 days you can have it transferred to a different registrar if you want to change web hosts, or you simply don't want ASO to have it. I'm unsure about the policy for other hosting companies.
ASO might make the most sense because they're one of the easiest hosts to work with. No joke: I've had problems that I've labeled as urgent and sent to them through the support system and they've responded within ten minutes. Talk about service.
Anyway, there's plenty of other great hosts out there, and you'll want to look for one with PHP and MySQL, CPanel, and a good ratio between storage and bandwidth.
There's threads about payments, and it really depends on the amount of work they do: graphics, code, backend content system, etc. Hope things start falling into place for you. :)

You have a everyday use first gen iPod classic!!! Wow, surprise it still works since it is almost 10 yrs old. Would have throughout batteries or HD would fail with everyday use.
But you have less then 5gigs of music? Most ppl complain that the 64gigs is to small and that's why they need a 160 GB classic
I put most of my collection on ipod but I have much more than what's on there

I have NEVER gotten Windows Media movies of any sort to play within Safari. In fact, anything not handled by QuickTime has never played inside of Safari for me.
really? I've had WMV play in Safari before, the only sites which don't work for me are NBC's. But, others (can't think of them off the top of my head) have worked in the past. I have the newest version on windows media player installed

No other site has this, but if one does, they will not have it for long. I will email it to any one who requests it.

I propose using the hashtag #cbusipad on Twitter to keep others updated on lines, inventories, pictures, etc.! Thoughts?

1. Use Carbon Copy Cloner (http://www.bombich.com/) to clone your current internal drive to an external
2. Install the SSD
3. Boot from the external HD by holding alt while booting
4. Use CCC again to clone the external HD to the SSD
5. Boot from the SSD by holding alt
That's it in the nutshell.

Sweet. For the longest time I couldn't decide between a 13" MBP or a 15" MBP... I was begrudgingly settling on a $2000 computer, simply because I couldn't let myself justify a $1200 computer that couldn't play any newer PC games. For $900, and black, that's a no-brainer!

im not using any command :\ i just click the fah6 exe that came with it and away it goes.
ill try to launch it from terminal and whatnot and ill come back.
ill try figure out how to get the results and post them here for comparisons :)
well it's really easy to launch it from inside the terminal. after starting terminal, you have to get inside the folder that had the fah6 file. you can get there by typing "cd" and then drag and drop the folder into terminal and press enter.
once in the folder, all you have to type is "./fah6" to start. but you can also add parameters with that command.

Is it only because the texts are smaller?
Well everything is smaller, but it becomes a problem when it comes to text.

That was incredibly silly. I'm sorry.
Not so much silly as it was stupid. And it being an ad makes it even worse.
(cough)No one support that site...

I've decided to test "My Living Desktop" in the second Lion's preview and, for my surprise, it is running. But when I try to register it says that I can register only as Administrator ( well, I am the administrator...at least I think I am... :) ). The pop up says that I have to log off and log on as administrator...How can I do that?...I mean How can I install a software that says that I can run it only if I am the administrator?...:D

I tend to agree with the previous post, it's primarily a Mac forum so it would be very tough to find anyone who could help with regards to Publisher OR recommend it as a pseudo-"professional" application.
Generally speaking, I've had a few clients send me stuff from Publisher... The "colour" issues in the app are painful at best, if you're after a specific HEX then you'll probably run into a few issues...
If it were me I'd recommend the following, it will give you a far better result that going down the Publisher route (it truly is a heinous application for the masses).
If skill level is the issue I would recommend using Pages, it does have some very nice templates while the finished results can be rather good for the newbie users.
Otherwise I would use Inkscape (http://inkscape.org/), it would be the closest thing to Illustrator without the attached costs, with that said there's a steep learning curve.

When a paper like the Daily Mail runs a story, most people tend to ignore it.
I agree! The Daily Mail is trash.
