Looking to upgrade to a new 'book? I'm looking to downgrade to one of the following:
A clean G3 ibook (600MHz - 800MHz) with the clear plastics, not the opaque white plastics. Must have an airport card, would prefer one capable of CD burning. Offering $400.
or
A clean TiBook w/ airport card. Offering $400 (for 400/500MHz VGA model w/o cd burning capability) to $650 (say, 800 MHz DVI model w/ combo drive).
I'm in Seattle, WA - if you are too, all the better.

You need to put a colon before "Category", for example:
[[:Category:XYZ]]
Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks.

Since max_altitude's Warhol (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=167926) didn't make it to the finals, it has to be Lacero's apple carving, no doubt about that... :)I'm surprised it didn't make it as well.
Well here's my vote for Lacero's.

Hello everyone!
I am wondering if somebody could help me. For the last 3 months I have been working on creating an animated stopmotion film. I have created the real 3D sets, done the clay figures and shot the still images. As I am not very good with computers and all the settings that there are, I just imported every single image from iPhoto into Imovie and changed the time lapse for each image to 0,2 and thats how I created the animated film. It looks good, but since the film is now over 5 min long, the software (or can it be my computer?)gets really slow. Sometimes I cant even watch the video, and definitely not in the full size mode, just on a small video image in imovie.
I am getting really stressed about this now since I have put so much work into it and just want to finish the project (maybe add another 2 more min) and export it to a dvd with as good quality as possible.
I started to read about imovie and discovered it isnt supposed to be used for stopmotion. So.. I just got istopmotion and did a small test reimporting just onescene, then trying to export it, and importing it into imovie (i like using imovie because of all the possibilities of playing around with contrasts and colors)
But now the quality of the images looks really bad. It isnt at all as sharp as before. I have tried so many different settings while exporting from istopmotion, but it doesnt seem to make much difference. I am working in 4:3 ration, and the best option seems to be HD ( but in 16:9 only) so that doesnt seem to work.
Does anybody have any advice for me?
Should I use a completely different software for this and start from scratch?
Or is there maybe just some small trick that I am missing??
I would be very thankful for help!
Lia

Yeah, I was thinking of going to the Mall. The guy in the Carphone Warehouse there told me they would get many more IPhones than the O2 store in the Mall, but he would say that!
Seeing as the Mall normally opens quite late (10am) in the day, do you think either of these stores will even be able to open early in the morning for the special launch?
I'm thinking the stores in Bristol centre might be a safer bet...

Doesn't it say right on there that its the only way to get them?
You can get them on ebay, but I doubt they are the 'official' ones.
If they are from the likes of Vintage Micros then usually genuine, i got one and it's pretty cool as i'm unlikely to ever visit!

Saw it. I didn't want to throw the remote at the TV, but I did roll my eyes and think that there are no depths to which conservatives will not stoop.
If there are two things they're good at, it's impoverishing the middle class, and creating fearmongering bullcrap propaganda.

I'm very happy that the people running DailyTunes have agreed to delete songs for the person that originally posted the songs. Thank you arn and mudbug! :)
I am quite dismayed however, at the flak I've gotten from people who just can't understand: 1) why I would change my mind about a song and, 2) why I would want to delete a song. Is this symptomatic of a society of control freaks that think if THEY can't conceive of a reason for doing something then that something must not be allowed? I'm reminded of Al Gore's recent remark about "digital brownshirts".
Let me give an example. If you notified the credit bureaus that your credit report contained false, derogatory information would you prefer that the credit bureaus merely place a disclaimer beside that false information? Of course not! You would want that derogatory information deleted, never to be found again. Why? Because you know that prospective lenders, landlords and employers reading that derogatory information will still be influenced by it, even if there is a disclaimer.
Well, a song posted in the DailyTunes data base is nowhere near as important an issue but the principle is the same.
While I congratulate DailyTunes for striking a note of freedom, there are countless other data bases out there which contain your digital footprint and you have no way, short of an act of Congress, to get that data deleted. The internet is still a very new aspect of our society and I think it is important that we proceed carefully and err toward the needs of people. Perhaps this episode serves as a cautionary tale for those who choose "the system" over freedom.

Anyway, I'm quite sure they would never do that.

So I have been trying to find an original, not a reproduction of an apple store shirt and I hadn't been able to find them anywhere. Every time I have gone to the store and asked an employe they have always told me that they don't sell them. Yesterday I did my usual rounds on craigslist and I came across someone that either is an ex employ or knows an ex employ because they had a whole bunch of different original Apple store tee shirts for sale! I already Bought a few! but they still have plenty of shirts available and I thought I would pass along this news since I know that just like me there are people that would do anything for an original apple shirt. The only thing weird about your poll is that choice 1 & 2 are pretty much the same so why 3 choices when 2 would have sufficed.
Ya, I'd wait for 10.5, then buy the new Mac. And after that save up for you console(which I'd say not the PS3, but I'm sure you've looked at the other system, or have the both)

It's gone. Thanks very much.

kaleidascope (think I spelled that wrong) you mean? technically it uses schemes. themes refer to the built in capacity in OS 9's appearence control panel.
