I would like play my itunes library with pure music output to my dac I have tried airfoil but cannot get it to work. Has anybody had any experience with this or some other plug in.

New iMac 27-inch 2.7GHz Quad-Core i5 is $1,694 (no tax/no shipping) on Amazon.
The only difference I see between the two is the new iMac's have Thunderbolt and faster video. My understanding is that currently there are not many Thunderbolt compatible devises out there. I know that will change in the future; however I am somebody that does not upgrade my hardware (except ram) and/or software all that often. I would like to keep my iMac for at least 5 years. I mostly do word processing, research on the internet, some 2d cadd work, and some web site design (on my company web site). Do you think the $158.06 is worth it to go with the new one?

Well the official videos come from the studios themselves so why are they complaining?
I guess they don't anticipate most people converting from youtube to mp3. But as far as im concerned it's the same as recording off the radio.

I'd want a 17" or 15" HiRes ideally. But the weight is a killer. I drag this laptop around on my motorcycle, hanging off in my backpack, full of gym crap in it. The MBA is literrally "a load off my back". Of course, my Targus backpack has **** for restraints and bad ergonomics to begin with. I need to look into a better bag.

Lockinfo seemed pretty good when I got the trial, for some reason I can't jump to buy any of the apps. Like iconoclasm seems cool but I haven't sprung for it. So far I have a new notification system and SBSettings and that's about it, a new theme too.

Is there any way to restore individual apps from iTunes, without completely restoring from a backup? I have lots of save data in a backup of my iPhone, but I don't want to completely restore the device. I am jailbroken if that's required, but an iTunes-direct method would be best. Ideas?
there is a new app called "DataDeposit" on cydia, it does backup your apps data to your dropbox account. haven't tried it yet but the concept is cool.
make sure to refresh cydia and type DataDeposit in the search box without space.

I was having the same discussion on another forum as well and they all convinced me to stay away from RAID0 for this system, the files are too important to risk for a little speed boost.
The new direction I'm thinking is...
Disk 1: 128GB SSD: Boot Drive
Disk 2: 320GB Clone drive + Time Machine Backup for Disk 1
Disk 3: 2TB scratch/storage drive
Disk 4: 3TB Time Machine for Disk 3
Disk 5: 2TB clone of Disk 3. What do you think, needed?
Then, have an external drive to clone both Disk 1 and Disk 3 that will be off-site.
How does that sound?

have you and your buddy put the bandwith limit of iChat to "None" found in iChat preferences Video section. ? That may be part of the problem.

I think that's about all you can do... there's always the trade good items, but that's annoyingly time consuming to make money at.
I've just kind of let the game run, as you don't make money offline anymore... I've saved up 20 million and I think you only need 8.5 million to make all good choices once you become king.

How about a Classic that's a little smaller, a little thinner, with a screen that goes mostly edge to edge (so larger) and the hard drive replaced with maybe 4 flash chips so they can give it 128GB without such a high cost. Flash storage would use much less power than the hard drive too, so the battery could get smaller while even delivering better battery life.
