MAJOR EDIT: I solved my problem. Went to aim.com/im_routing and found out
When signed into multiple locations:
Your messages will generally be delivered to all locations not set as Away (or locations that have gone Idle).
If all locations are set Away, then messages will be delivered to all locations.

I was using the embedded keypad on my PowerBook and the sleeve of my sweater got caught on the 'Page Down' key, so when I moved my hand away, the button popped off. Now I can only get the right side of the button back in place - the left side won't snap in. Any ideas?
P.S. - Nevermind, found the Apple Knowledge Base Article on how to fix the key. Thanks anyhow!

so what do we learn from all that
before you bid or press buy it now , no matter how cheap or expensive it is a couple minutes google would give you all info you need about it ,sometimes ebay is helpful too , if you just look at the same products sold you sometimes even find out all the flaws the product can have and if it is really worth the money in general, obviously there are exceptions if something is very rare and in full working order and in excellent condition it will have a higher price , but then YOU can maybe justify to pay more , but always set yourself a limit you are willing to pay and stick to that, then you dont have to regret it

For some reason my GT 120 has bitten the dust. I have an old 8800gt and a old monitor I can use to avoid downtime while AppleCare replaces my GT 120. The thing is the other monitor is to damn small (17") Is there any way I can connect my ACD to the 8800gt. Some sort of adapter maybe?

I don't know... A lot of people seem to share the opinion that the 5th generation nano is better, and Apple has backtracked before by putting controls back on the shuffle, and even reverting the nano back to the tall design in the 4th generation after the short, stubby 3rd gen. Depending on how the sales have been and how vocal consumers are the 7th gen may regain some of the form and function of the 5th gen.
I actually didn't mind the 3rd gen but IMO the 4th bests the 5th. No one I know embraced the video cam.

Do you honestly think that software suppliers are going to ignore that market?
By the time PPC software is obsolete, your new G5 will be too.

Those games were awesome. :)
Best of all Camelot are supposedly working on either an unnamed Wii or DS (forgot which) RPG. Music was perfect, game design was simple but had hidden depth with them Djinn things. My stomach went all tingly when you go to Knox and see the physical "end of the world".

Where are you running it from? AppleScript Editor? Something else?
Exactly which folders have you tried it on? Be specific.
What user account are you logged in as?
Break It Down.
If you take out the second line, what is the resulting theFolder value? What is its type? Is it a string, an alias, a fnord, something else?
If you change the variable name from theFolder to myFolder or eineKleineFnordMusik, what happens?

The iMac will be better in the long run. You get an incredibly nice screen, a nice keyboard, a mouse that should be thrown in the trash as soon as you receive your package, and much better hardware than you would from the Mac Mini.
I don't hate the Magic Mouse... I don't love it either... but it's not too bad for just basic stuff... it's **** for gaming though... then again... I use a Trackman on my iMac... :P

Hi,
I searched with no success.
I had some garageband issues trying to download the guitar lessons. Several of them wouldn't download, giving me an error each time it tried. I deleted them all and tried to re-install them. It won't work. I deleted .plist file, as suggested on the apple forums.
When I open garageband, and select Learn to Play, it has a selection at the bottom "Visit the lesson store..." When I try to visit the lesson store, I get an error stating The lesson store is temporarily unavailable" I've gotten this for 2 days now.
Any ideas?

As of now, I am using the RCA tape inputs and outputs, with the main 1/4 outs going to my Mackie studio monitors. My mixer allows me to connect anything line or mic level into it. Guitar, microphone, etc. Currently I am using it mostly with a Shure SM58 microphone, but 99% of it's use is for my main volume control for the computer itself (which has Snow Leopard)

I've been searching but can't get past what I have- a translucent grey.
I've tried mirage-dock (?) or- InvisibleDock, but I can't figure it out.
I just want my icons and signals that an app is running. I don't want a mirror effect either.
