I remember when Ryan Block left Engadget and people were saying similar things, wondering about Engadget's future. Josh eventually grew into the role and now he's leaving. While it's sad to see him go, I'm sure someone else will eventually fill the spotlight.

Hello everyone. I recently deleted a ton of fonts I had on my computer, because I had so many it was just annoying me to wait 8 minutes every time I needed to use the text tool. So I deleted just tons of fonts. Now when I try to use the text tool it's saying this:
Could not complete your request because of a program error.
Also in the pull down menu when I select a font it doesn't put a font in the box right? It just leaves it blank.
Anyone have any idea's, do I need more info? Please help.

I had an Otterbox defender and loved it too. Unfortunately, after about a week it started creaking and moving around under the silicon (i.e. the two halves of the case would move in relation to each other).
Otterbox were fantastic and replaced it for me FOC (they just shipped one from the USA to the UK completely FOC and didn't ask for the old one back)
However, after a couple of months, the replacement started doing exactly the same and I ended up having to tape it together under the silicon to hold it together.
Basically, I think what happened is that the clips stopped holding the case together tightly over time (I'd taken it out a few times), and for that reason I'd definitely recommend keeping it in the case 24/7 otherwise you could end up with the same problem I had

Handylight was on the app store for a few hours before it was pulled. I grabbed it, but don't really use it. I hear Apple has a killswitch to delete apps for the iPhone remotely, but hasn't used it, where android has. If you sync it to your itunes, you can always put it back on your phone from there.

The doors opened at 8:00 am on the dot. Some employee was saying they expected an additional shipment this evening for sale tomorrow. Also the employee who helped me said "everybody is getting the 16Gig, at this rate we will run out soon." Considering I was 25th in line that wasn't too encouraging. All told I didn't get into the store until 8:45a and then 5 minutes later I left with a white iPhone...sweet! The line still wrapped around the building. My estimate was there was about 100 people in line still.

"dad walks in on daughter"
"see who viewed your profile"
"check out this funny video you are in"
and so on, and so on.
The list goes on and on. The smart thing to do is NOT click these links. No matter what they are and who sent them to you. The thing the virus does is, if you click it, it will then send to everyone in your facebook profile the virus FROM YOU. So they think its coming from you. This has been going on for a very long time but has recently picked up a lot of power from somewhere.
The bottom line is, do not click on the links.. Why would you want to watch "Dad walks in on daughter",
I'm not saying that I clicked it, I'm saying that I have seen it popping up in the last 24 hours and wanted to know what it's potential was. As an empolyee in the IT field, things like this peak my interest since it affects myself, my friends, my family, my co-workers and my clients. So, the bottom line is that I'm trying to become knowledgeable of what's out there to safeguard the people around me from a big mess.

Didnt get it :( (I am hoping it was down to no previous experience before hand... because if it was because I as a person wasnt what they were looking for that makes it even worse lol)I tried for both, didn't get either. Anyway I think it was because I knew too much about Apple. Apple now tend to get people who know nothing or next to nothing for the shop floor, but get people who know everything for the specialists.
