I'm kind of right in between Oak Brook and Schaumburg so i'm debating which store to go to...I think it's gonna be Schaumburg though, if I do decide Oak Brook I'll just start screaming "Where's McPhallus?!?!" really loud...lol

Depends on your situation - common wisdom is that a tripod can only have 2 of the following characteristics: sturdy, light, cheap.
Maybe you want to take a look here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=847990
Hope that helps.

Hi,
I never knew you could aggregate the soundcards thanks!
I just setup traktor.
I have the following setup
Cheap usb soundcard which is connected to my speakers.
Headphones coming out of my imac's built in output.

The follwing setup enables me to cue tracks through the headphones(built in output) and have the main output from my speakers(usb soundcard)
Thanks for your reply, glad I could help you, but I just tried your method and it didnt work for me, I put the speakers through usb sound card and headphones through built in but this time the speakers got louder when i seleceted which deck to listen to with "headphones"
Some screenshots of my set up...you appear to have one more input than me on ur usb soundcard :S Which card do you have? Any ideas on my problemo?
Dont know why it is calling my USB soundcard headphone :/ thought he headphones do need a usb to power them

Hi,
I have a very good macbook pro which has been working absolutely fine until what must have been yesterday. My macbook charger simply will not charge. It's not one of those situations where the mac says 'not charging' or anything like that, it's just that the charger is not doing anything, no matter where it is plugged in.
The light stays black and nothing comes up on the screen.
I honestly don't know what's going on. I got the macbook in November so it's not ultimately that old, either.
Please, please help!

So if I understand correctly, what you want is for all your media to stay on your local drive, but for there to be a backup copy on the airdisk that updates when you make changes?
If that's correct, the best way I can think of is to just have the airdisk be a time machine backup, exclude everything but your iTunes folder, and that should do it.

hi - my 3GS goes from a screen that's super bright (with no change when adjusting the brightness settings) to a black screen with some faint visibility... might have been result of charging phone in Europe using bathroom 110 razor outlet... anyone know of a fix? or do you think getting a local screen repair is the call? thx! -- bwt

I don't think he was trying to sound like a jerk, its just that you didn't answer the question...
People really do this these days, he was just trying to clarify... Nothing to take offense about.
Yeah just trying to make it clear to myself and to others.
And I think I helped your auction get up pretty quick with my 200 max bid haha.

Hi, I installed a 160 GB GEN2 Intel X-25M SSD in my MBP and was surprised to see in "About This Mac" that TRIM is indicated as "NO." The drive comes from a serial number set that should have the latest firmware. Am I missing something? I thought these were all featured TRIM...

You would probably get a quick answer in the MacBook forum (this is the Mac Pro desktop forum) but I think any office screen cleaner and lint-free cloth will do the job.
Yep. The key is lint-free, so you don't scratch the screen.

As in a REAL ipod not a square little touchscreen.
Something with real menus... some kind of separate control pad (touchwheel or whatever)... crossfade etc

I think conventional wisdom says there will be a MP update this year to give the entire line TB. (Toss up if the Mac Mini and MB will survive, but isn't that always the case). I know the SNB Xeons Apple will likely use for the next MP won't be out until later this year, but I have to wonder if Intel might give Apple early dibs b/c of it's partnership with Apple on TB. It would be pretty sweet if a TB MP was announced at WWDC along with a new TB monitor, FCS, and 10.7.
