With your clip on the timeline, double click it to load it in the browser. Open the "motion" tab in the browser. There's the controls for zooming in and out of the clip and keyframing that action. Turn on wireframes for your clip in the viewer (view -> image+wireframe).

yeah, these will be interesting once Thunderbolt storage and video I/O devices get released. Both should be by the end of the year. Until then, they're still the same as previous iMacs.

Link: GarageBandCreations.com, today, launched it's new site (version 1.0) which features the "Auditoriums" Section for users to share their GarageBand Creations and those from other applications. Though other GB sites advertise a similar feature, the GBC Auditorium is currently the only one actually working. (http://www.macbytes.com/link.php?sid=20040114193707)

Anyone else find it EXTREMELY hysterical that the receipt says "$440" however people are willing to pay FAR more than that? I mean wow seriously. Strikes me as a "You ********* moron" moment.
Good luck selling this! Auction is about to end!
I actually thought it would go for much more. It strikes me more as supply vs. demand.

The site you listed in your profile? I don't think a third grader could make that. Maybe a fourth grader, but definately not a third grader.;)
LOL - I had a friend that half-way built a gorgeous site, but had a sort of life change and ended up not being able to finish it. :o
It was really beautiful with a lof of interactive Flash elements.
Now I actually have to learn something, I guess.

The manual for my Infiniti states that it is more efficient to use the AC to lower the temp at higher speeds. Opening the windows causes a significant amount of wind drag. Not only that, but the air is not much cooler in Phoenix during the summer, but I don't think they were referring to Phoenix specifically.
I ended up getting a Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4 instead of a Honda Rune. And there is nothing mentioned about opening the windows vs. using the AC. No matter what I do with the Tacoma, AC concerned, I end up getting about 19mpg. Which isn't all that bad. I am hoping for 21 with a CAI though.

I think the chances of it working are good enough that I'd bite the bullet and buy an '040.
Of course, it doesn't take much to convince me to buy additional hardware. ;)

Steve Jobs isn't allowed to wear brown. -_- I was disappointed.
First he wears brown and then there is no One More thing.

Thanks in advance for your precious help

RED LIGHT in audio out port = OPTICAL AUDIO OUT ON >>> 3.5mm headphones will not work, including any other analog 3.5mm cable
NO RED LIGHT in audio out port = ANALOG AUDIO OUT ON >>> 3.5mm headphone or other analog audio cables will work.
Solution if RED LIGHT ON >>> plug 3.5mm plug in and out several times
Similar threads can be easily found via MRoogle (http://mroogle.edesignuk.com/), as this occurs often.

I'm looking for a quick and easy way, if there is such a thing, for capturing audio in OSX. I'm doing scoring work in Logic, and am always coming across reference ideas in movies, shows, etc., that I'd love to grab. Is there any good way to capture audio streaming from, for example, netflix or youtube? Or any audio that's flowing through the mac at any time. Doesn't have to be great quality, just as reference.
The only way I've been able to do this is rent dvds and record that from a dvd player etc into my audio interface, into logic or garageband, audacity, etc. Seems like since Netflix is already streaming through the mac (somehow, I'm technologically illiterate, it would be great to be able to just grab a few minutes or seconds of audio as it goes by.)
Thanks!

I don't suppose that'll be of much comfort to anybody except the driver, who I imagine was the first to die...
Maybe not, if he hung on to the wheel and had a seat-belt on.
The passengers dumped onto the right side windows would not have been so lucky.
Seat belts save lives. On all airplanes, why not on busses.

This was bound to happen. With the increase in popularity with Android, the GalaxyTab appears to be selling well. With more competitors releasing their tablet computers in the near future, Apple's market share will get even lower.
Maybe they can hold onto the majority, maybe not. With the sudden boom of Android phone owners I'm seeing, I'd say not in the long run.

Good question - specs follow:
MacBook Pro
2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Ram
250 GB HDD
Those are the most general specs - not sure how to get more data... but let me know if needed.
Is going refurb a bad idea? I was thinking that as soon as I use it, it is "used" anyway...

i you use a 3G, don't even bother. It stutters and is pretty much unplayable during high note sections. I'll load it on my iPad and give it a try later. Seems fun, will probably enjoy it with a new iPhone 4 when I get one.
