You can test the hard drive by removing it and placing it into an external enclosure. Or do you have a access to another MacBook to put the hard drive in?

I've never heard of them before, but these 'Steelseries Siberia' cans look like an interesting design.
Over ear, neck-band, extendable microphone, remote control.

hmm looks ok. They have been out for a while just looking at the video search history. I don't know if I would use it out and about.

In the great wealth, the great firmament of this forum's generosity, the particular choice may perhaps be found by future generations as a trifle eccentric, but the mere fact of it -- the prodigal, pure, human kindness of it -- must be seen as a beautiful star in that firmament which shines upon me at this moment.

Anyone planning to head to the AT&T in Stow? I'm torn between there, Chapel Hill AT&T and Legacy Village Apple Store.

yeah i mean pretty much says the same thing... production second half of this year see them in devices early next year... looks like he just left out the next year part!
They also had a similar time frame for SNB, and they were given to manufacturers really early 2011 (january)

[QUOTE=GFLPraxis;12443387Microsoft has taken a liking to randomly re-arranging their GUI for no reason and in horribly illogical ways.[/QUOTE]
+1 I fix windows desktops and servers for a living and sometimes I look at things and wonder where Microsofts head is sometimes. Not to mention Windows is missing features that have been in other OSs for ages (multiple desktops, native ISO support (and NO windows 7 does not have full read/write native ISO support, I hear that argument all the time))

i found an open source php script that will take a user's exported itunes xml file and import the songs, artists, albums, and play counts into a database. i edited this so that anyone can upload their library file and import their data. it's all in one big database.
i'm wondering, could anyone help me with adding users to this? like the ability to have a stats page and everything for each user. and also some sort of friendship-like functionality to compare music tastes, etc. the problem is getting the logic started on how go about in the database for adding the users, and how to separate them.
thanks

I believe the title says it all.
I'm debating becoming an OS X Developer mainly for the pre-release versions of Lion. I believe you can, when the final is out, also download that, right?

The only working page at the moment is the "meet the staff" page so let me know what you guys think of it.

Not yesterday morning it didn't. They do update their news so I'm sure they have it right by now.

You'll just have to wait and see. I assume that since it didn't turn off, it should be okay but the keyboard might not work anymore. But you never know. You'll just have to wait. Let it try out and report what happens!

Some macs (I think including yours) don;t support hard drives any bigger than 127GB.
I think if you put the drive in a firewire or usb external enclosure, the enclosure chipset will take care of that, so you can hook up a 300GB drive if you want.
