Im after a capture card thats compatible with my MacBook to record gameplay footage from my PS3...something cheap and basic - Im not looking for a state of the art, HD capture card, just something that can get the job done without being too expensive

Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to get a sticky with the title along the lines of "Buy now or wait" ?
Once opened, the sticky could have the overused words "If you need it, buy it, if you don't, wait" as well as a link to the MacRumors buyer's guide. More specific information could also be added depending on the forum location. (Such as MacBook Pro)
This question gets asked daily, and I feel it might help users before asking.

Good luck selling it for that price. I've got a premium unit (with Kameo, extra wireless controller, charge kit) listed at BIN $999 and have gotten little interest. I've even offered to ship it for free. It tinted the images green when re-processed or imported under the new RAW 3. So happy to have this fixed!
I hope they fixed this tinting problem on more than just the 3 cameras listed-- I've been having the problem with my D80 and Aperture 3 is dead to me until this is fixed.
Why couldn't the camera-specific details live on a central website that the software drivers could pick up "live" when needed, and cache for later, so we wouldn't keep having to pick up these updates to keep up?
That's kind of what's happening, no? In this case, the driver is picking up the details through Software Update hitting the Apple config website.

I just got an N router so this little guy needs to go. I bought it in December, it's still under warranty. It's a Belkin MyEssentials Wireless G Router, has everything that a basic wireless router has, can be used as an access point as well. Works fine, just wanted to upgrade.

i just got this and had my first lesson a couple days ago so i'm fresh, but pretty excited. seemed like a great guitar for the price and all you get with it, though the tuner is pretty garbage and the dvd wouldn't even load.
i was going to start a thread but saw this one. anyone have any good online resources for learning guitar or can recommend any specific youtube video series or something?

I would probably call and complain about the issue. You may have better luck calling than going in a store. If the CSR says no, ask for his/her manager and climb the ladder accordingly. Good luck.
