I wondered why the form elements look better in the "special edition" Firefox for G5 (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=97289) optimized build, they must have included this in it
I love Firefox.

Well compared to how long they waited to update it last time it feels like they just did. I just hope they don't wait for the sandy bridge xeon proccesors to give it TB. I read that in another post btw I don't know if there even making them.

This is how all the PCs/Macs and hanging monitors at your H.S. and some elementaries work with demonstrations and other visuals when the traditional light projector is not being used.
Try switching from Video 1, Video 2, S-Video etc. on your TV or maybe unplug your TV from your computer.

It seems that you're trying to save the video to the media browser. If so, you get to choose which sizes you want by checking the corresponding boxes after you choose Share->Media Browser.
If you don't want a certain size, go to the very bottom of the Share menu, Share->Remove From->Media Browser.
It shouldn't be rendering all sizes automatically...No I am not at the point of saving or sharing yet. I finished the project and then chose File>Finalize Project and at this point it starts saving it in the four formats.
I found some information in the Help Menu (http://help.apple.com/imovie/interface/index.html#mov3af11e54) but no specific answers.
Thank much

"3. What happens if something goes wrong? I have the original install disks, but... I don't know"
Um... you go back to whatever OS you were using before.
Seriously.
Suggestion:
Do not, repeat DO NOT, install Lion _over_ the OS you are already using.
Instead, install it onto a clean, unused partition somewhere.
The idea is to EXPERIMENT with it, and NOT to use it as "your main OS".
Not yet, anyway.
Got it?

Steve gives the best interviews ever of any one in his position. I love watching them and I love his Keynotes! I train employees on Apple products at my work and I always base the way I present them on the way Steve presents. Ever since I started doing that I have receive non stop praise of my training skills.
I think to myself... I'm just emulating Steve Jobs, but thanks!

6G nano or 6G classic?
For the classic- its rare that i listen to it until the battery is drained with just music, but with my movies and TV shows i usually get a solid 5-6 hours (I'm usually watching with the backlight between 0 and 15%). If i had to take a guess for music, it would be around 20-25 hours for mine.
Try doing a full cycle of the battery- charge until full then drain it running music until it actually dies, then juice it back up again. Did wonders for my 1G touch.

Question #2. I want to upgrade the hard drive right away. Is there any way that I can copy the OS over to the new hard drive since I don't have any instalation CDs?
2. There's tools for OS X that will do this (e.g. superduper) but I don't know about OS9.
OS 9 doesn't need any steenking tools, mon! Hook your new drive up on the internal bus (or pop it into an external FireWire cradle i fyou have one); boot from OS 9 from your existing HD, and use OS 9's utility Drive Setup to format and initialize your new drive, and partition it if you wish to partition. Then drag-copy the System Folder to the new drive. Go to the Startup Disk Control Panel and pick the copy of the OS on the new drive and reboot to make sure it worked / is "blessed" / etc.
Repeat the drag-copy process for all your MacOS 9 applications (which may or may not be confined to an "Applications (OS 9)" folder, btw).
Done.
For OS X, you need software to copy the OS over, due to permissions and an invisible file or two. I acquired Retrospect Express as a toss-in freebie when I bought an external FW drive to use for backup, and I'll vouch for it. Others already mentioned on this thread are probably also solid and many of them are free (Retro Ex costs at least a nominal buck or two).

iGary, listen to me you whinning, kid-less money bag.
I spend $100/month for 1 kids piano lessons.
$95/mo for 2 kids gymnastics
$60/mo for another kids dance classes
we just wrote over $100 in various checks to the elementary school for kids stuff.
You have none of that, no clothes for 3 kids, no meals for 3 kids, no birthday presents for 3 kids' friends.
Get the blessed thing NOW! Screw the 30in, it will be there only cheaper next month.
After you get it, you have to put some of my fav songs on it though.

From what I understand, you can make your own phone, so long as you don't sell it. I mean, if you have the means to make a mean phone (wow, haha), then I believe you can do it.

Because I don't want them going to that folder at all. I like to email a picture and delete it right after or drag and drop it to the appropriate folder.

Finder is able to make a copy and not remove the folder you copy by simple drag & drop or using CMD+C to copy the original folder and CMD+V on the external HDD.
Or do you want something different?
You also could use CarbonCopyCloner (http://www.bombich.com) or SuperDuper (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/superduper/superduperdescription.html) to make a 1:1 copy of folders, the source will not be deleted.

there is a firmware update for the black/white macbooks to work on the newer magsafe chargers (which I think have a silly design). Try doing software updates until there are none available

I'd like to purchase a new fully decked out Mac Pro with the maximum 64GB of RAM, but I obviously don't want to have to pay Apple $3,550 for the extra RAM.
Does anyone have any experience with, or words of advice about, the RAM sold by OWC (sold here (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/1333D3X8M64K/))
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I started a thread about a question similar to this and it can be viewed here: (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1139455)
Overall, very positive responses about OWC

I do wonder what people expect is going to happen on May 21, and what they will do when nothing does.

Because the actual guitar hero is really anything like playing a guitar at all? (Disclaimer, I do play guitar and I rarely play Guitar Hero).
I'm impressed, anyway, at the $2.99 pricetag for a major franchise. Doubtless they're interested in the massive opportunity for impulse buying song packs. Does it have over-the-air multi-player?
After playing some Beatles Rock Band over the weekend, I guess it would help my rhythm some, but meh, turning on the dirty channel on my amp and shredding is mostly more fun. :)
I don't think guitar hero ever helped me with rhythm. Hell, GH isn't supposed to be like playing the real guitar ... if it is they seriously missed the mark.
I love the game and for the price tag I will buy today.
