With an old G3 there should be plenty of literature. I'd be looking on the manufacturers' sites to see whether they support the OS you're running.
Also, the ebay ad says it has a PS/2 port, I think this is more likely an ADB port - I don't think any Mac has ever shipped with a PS/2 port.
I figured the PS\2 post was a typo. I always thought that older macs used different keyboard plugs.

the guy who won the auction emailed me shortly after the auction had ended. i gave him my phone number and he called me. very nice guy. at first, he was going to pay for the 2-day shipping for $75 but then he had an idea that he could get a co-worker who works here in dallas to bring the cash in hand to pick it up. NICE!
he called me back to confirm and a guy by the name of Juan is going to meet me at my work tomorrow to exchange the cash for the 360.
gotta love it!

Wayne also said that he never regretted his decision to leave Apple and that he is not going to sue them. Never.

I did this years ago on a MacPlus with a dialup account but discovered that MacTCP v2.0.6 would reliably crash.
Downgrading to MacTCP 2.0.4 fixed that problem but I never discovered exactly where or why this conflict occurred.

I'm still waiting for Rovio to fix my angry birds freezing problem. Note to self, never update! Anyhow, I found this angry birds parody to sooth my angry birds addiction for another day.

This is apparently a revamp of his Macsimum Perspective site, which ran stories about all sorts of various stuff - macs, 3rd party hardware, software, movie reviews of things he saw, etc.
Sometimes interesting, if not much more.

I apologize for my issue being too elementary and if my title is misleading. I am very new to iPhone programming. I only know what Ive read and seen and my first app isnt working. I'm only trying to transition from view to view sequentially.
I have four ViewController files: RootViewController.xib, SecondList.xib, AddNewList.xib, AddNewItem.xib
Of course, RootViewController.xib loads first. There is a plus button that pushViewController AddNewList.xib. There is a Round Rect button that pushViewController SecondList.xib and lastly, a plus button pushViewControllers AddNewItem.xib.
The lastly is where the app dies. When I hit the last plus button, the program gets a GDB: Program received signal: SIGABRT. I think its caused by a memory leak. When debugging, I noticed that the method (void)dealloc; never gets executed.
Am I correct that I have a memory leak? If it is a leak, I am assuming that if the dealloc method gets executed then the leak would go away. How do I cause the dealloc method to get executed. If not a leak, what do you think?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
My code are below:
RootViewController.h:
#import <UIKit/UIKit.h>
#import "AddNewSecondList.h"
@interface RootViewController : UITableViewController {
AddNewSecondList *addSecondListController;
NSArray *mainList;
}
@property (nonatomic,retain) AddNewSecondList *addSecondListController;
@property (nonatomic,retain) NSArray *mainList;
-(void)addSecondList;
@end
RootViewController.m:
@implementation RootViewController
@synthesize addSecondListController;
@synthesize mainList;
- (void)viewDidLoad {
self.navigationItem.title = @"Main";

Quite a conundrum there. So it turns on alright and such but doesn't respond to the USB ports is all? Do you have another Mac around?

Go to laptopvideo2go
Download the latest driver from that website and get the modded INF file along with it.
Extract the drivers and replace the original INF file (it's in the Driver folder) with the modded version.
Right click Computer, select Manage, choose Display Adapters, right click NVIDIA GeForce 320M, select Uninstall, reboot.
Screen resolution should be very low at this time. Open Setup in the extracted folder with the drivers.
Install, reboot, you're golden.
One question for you: Are you able to close the lid and have the screen automatically turn off (not sleep, not hibernate, not shut down, just turn screen off)? I updated from the stock Boot Camp drivers to 270.61 and the screen still stays on when I close the lid.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

my primary user account is a standard account and i have the admin account/password that only gets used when it's asked for. any ideas?
When you go to your account in the system preferences, and you click on the security tab, is the "master password" still set? It sounds like it is, but just checking. And you verified in that tab that your account is still defined as standard and not admin?
Also, I'm not sure repairing permissions sets the permissions on the applications directory. Maybe they've changed?

According to google translate, that video's title is Bass DJ. Under description, it says "Car Audio song". The only tag on the video is "Gentleman".

Hi All,
Anyone seen this before? Time machine is a complete and utter PAIN IN THE REAR!
I have several problems with it:
1) why isn't mail time machine enabled?
2) why isn't itunes time machine enabled?
3) why isn't iPhoto time machine enabled?
Half a$$ed implementation if you ask me, but anyway.
I have a new problem, everytime my mac backups I get a non removable floating finder window showing me the progress.... I DONT CARE, i can't get rid of it, no system prefs that i've found can get rid of it, and it's REALLY annoying, like MS Office 97 Paper clip annoying!
Anyone else come across this? i've tried googling and searching the forums but 'Time Machine Finder Window' returns lot about enabling Time Machine on Windows! :)
Thanks!

upper cache.. i was told by a friend that it is a way to download images to a computer only once, even though you may have it in many places. for example, a title bar. so it doesn't have to download the image again every time they go to a new page wasting your precious bandwidth. if anyone can tell me what it is better, how to do it, or where to find out how to do it, i would really appreciate it..

How should I use IOUSBHIDDriver.cpp and IOUSBHIDDriver.h to match my device? Create a kext project adding IOUSBHIDDriver.cpp and IOUSBHIDDriver.h , then??? What should I do?

OK, I took off the cheapie screen protector I had on my iPhone 4, got a Power Supply anti glare set from the Apple store and put it on. Went on easily and perfectly except for one area at the edge near one corner which isn't sticking. This is covered by the edge of my case, but I'd still like to get it to stick. Any ideas? I can't call PS until Monday, and then I'll be at work.

This is the version with the full number pad and acrylic back. In very good shape with no noticeable wear on the front. Some light wear on the back, but its friggin' acrylic so what do you expect :D
$35 is my price, and it seems pretty fair for a great bluetooth keyboard. PayPal accepted and shipping is included in that figure.

While you're at it, you might want to upgrade the RAM on your iBook. 192MB is a little light for OS X. $100 will buy you a 512MB stick.
